I had hernia surgery and this dude is a stud he got it done and it’s good I feel much better and I did not take one pain pill ? Yes nothing my guy knows what he’s doing keep up the good work

Dr. Caravella is an amazing surgeon. Wait times in his office are minimal. His staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr Caravella removed my wife’s gallbladder two years ago, very professional and made her very comfortable,so when I had a hernia diagnosed I knew exactly who i wanted to do the repair. I had surgery 13 days ago and I was up walking the next day. I stopped taking pain medication in two days. I’m back walking 3 miles a day in less than an hour, everyone at his office has been spectacular and I can’t say enough about his surgical team at Valley Hospital. Thx Doc!

I waited over 3 hrs for surgery. Never saw him after surgery. Was hospitalized the day after surgery and no one from his office showed up after multiple calls from emergency room staff. Now I have another hernia after he said I didn't. Showed up for my appointment the following week and they asked why I was there. I mentioned I was hospitalized after surgery and left multiple messages and spoke with surgeon on call. No one knew anything. Dr. Caravella never came in to see me at my appointment. He stood outside the door and I could hear him say he didn't want to come in and talk to me. I came out of exam room and asked if he was there and they said he just left. HE JUST LEFT!!! He was standing in the small office for the 45 minutes I waited to talk to him. Two weeks later I went for follow up because of pain. I thought I had another hernia in a NEW spot. He examined me and said I didn't have any issues. I went to another Doctor the same week and he confirmed I did have a HERNIA.

I thought they were all amazing. Especially Monica. I forgot the other ladies name but Richard was learning and doing a great job. Monica even though I forgot my stockings my surgery moved up early. She wrapped me up and also took the time to take care of an injury I had in my leg. Amazing staff! Amazing doctor and I am glad they took care of me. I really can’t wait to have my other leg done. They all really care!

I had extremely large hernia for years and Dr Caravella was very courteous, explained everything to me. I had the robotic surgery and even though he said I would probably be laid up for a week or so I had no pain. I took ibuprofen for 24 hours and felt like I could return to work right away. Andrea was also very compassionate as I was a little nervous about the surgery but she made me feel very comforted. Kudos to both of them and I would highly recommend this team. They are the best in the valley! Thank you very much!

Dr. Caravella is absolutely wonderful. He made sure I knew what and why I needed surgery. He is attentive and caring. His staff Sandra/Andrea/nano/Shannon and David were great. They were so kind and helpful. They all made sure I was comfortable and sure of that I had all the information.

Everything went smooth. Dr caravella was fantastic and very nice.

Dr Caravella and his team did a great job on my laser vein procedures. They were very thorough. I would recommend their team to anyone that has any vein issues. Great job, keep up the good work.

Couple of things to be certain of BEFORE you leave the office. If you are having surgery: 1) CONFIRM EXACTLY WHAT TIME YOUR SURGERY IS. 2) CONFIRM EXACTLY WHICH DOCTOR WILL BE DOING THE SURGERY. 3) Wish I had done this for hernia repair. MAKE CERTAIN THEY KNOW WHAT KIND OF HERNIA YOU HAVE AND THE SIZE. Trust me, I went thru this very problem myself. BEST TO GET A SECOND OPIOION. There are tons of surgeons in LV that do robotic surgery.

Doctor Peter has been one of the most helpful doctors and his staff has been the most sweetest and knowledgeable staff that I have ever experienced.

Saw this surgeon for a total of about 5 minutes before gallbladder surgery, he was cold and insensitive. I had to return to the hospital for complication from the surgery for 6 days, The doctors at the hospital could not get a return call from his office. I had an follow up appointment 3 weeks later at some Momma Mia location and he was there but did not even look up at me. His PA came in and looked at my stomach and said all looked well. I asked her if she knew I had been in the hospital 6 days after my surgery from complication? no she did not. I would not take my dog to this surgeon or group it took them 2 months to find a surgeon and boy did I get the wrong one.

On my first visit I was so pleased! The Doctor took time to review my history, complaints, and advised of needed procedures to verify condition and to evaluate surgery needs. He was very personable, professional, and courteous. I felt totally at ease and felt he was interested in me and my problem instead of just checking the boxes. It was so refreshing and lifted my spirits to have someone listen and explain options.

I had surgery yesterday to have my gallbladder removed and Dr Caravella did the surgery. Dr Caravella is wonderful. He did the surgery robotically and is an expert in using this technology and technique. Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Caravella. His office staff are really great to work with.

The entire staff is amazing. From start to finish I knew I was I great hands. No one wants to hear that they have to have major colon surgery but the care I received and the compassion shown while I was in the hospital from Dr. Caravilla and is team was wonderful. Dr. Caravilla insured that I was well taken care of and my recovery was much easier thanks to their instructions before and after my surgery. They also visited me each day at the hospital following up and making sure I was ok. I knew they all cared about me and that made my experience more than 5 stars. Thank you all

Dr. Caravella was a fantastic doctor. This was my third hernia operation. My previous two hernia operations, done by different doctors, left me with numbness down my leg. After having Dr. Caravella do this third hernia operation for me, 95% of the numbness is gone. I never had any pain after the operation. I never needed to take medicine for pain. The technique and technology that Dr. Caravella used to fix my hernia was great because my incisions were so small compared to my previous operations where I had to actually get cut. The whole process was so easy. I highly recommend Dr. Caravella!
