Dr. Birnbaum made my entire family feel safe and secure in such a stressful situation. He handled everything with amazing care and made everybody understand the circumstances. He was very honest and after my father had a triple bypass heart surgery he was more then happy to check up on him. He was patient in answering several questions my family had. Such a scary experience which he made feel like everything would be okay!

Dr. Birnbaum did a fantastic job!! He answered ALL of my family and I's questions. He would check my levels 3-4 times a night while I was in the hospital. Communicated daily with my family about my progress and prognosis. He spent more time at my bedside after surgery than he did during surgery itself. He is one of the most dedicated and caring physicians I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I credit he and his staff for saving my life!

This Dr. Birnbaum is the ultimate Dr. Not only is he extremely competent at his profession, he is truly a wonderful caring human being. His office and staff are wonderful and efficient. None of this nonsense of waiting a hour or more for your appointment. Dr. Birnbaum and his staff are prompt and respect your time . I'm so thankful that he is my physician and love that I know I have him on my side. I have the utmost respect for him and his staff. You'll never regret having him as your Dr

After receiving what seemed a 'scary diagnosis' we were referred to Dr Birnbaum. Several visits and a series of tests later and surgery to replace a aortic valve was recommended. Dr explained procedure thoroughly and by the following Monday surgery had been performed. Surgery went great! She spent one week in hospital and was then discharged. That was in October 2017, Here we are in the New Year and shes been cleared to return to Zumba ! Thank you Dr Birnbaum and staff for the excellent care

Dr. Birnbaum was very kind and made an unexpected surgery go smoothly. I was shocked and scared and the whole office was very helpful, patient, and comforting. I never felt rushed or like just another patient. He took time to explain what was wrong and what was going to happen next, to fix the problems. Walter was also very kind and helpful when he would check on me while in the hospital. I always felt safe and like they both had my best Intrest under control. Highly recommend this doctor?

Having open heart surgery is nothing to be taken lightly and brings on worries and fears. Dr. Birnbaum thoroughly explained the procedures and all that would be happening to me before, during and after the surgery. I was a typical textbook case and very few unexpected events occurred so I recovered quickly and without complications. Dr. Birnbaum suggested I enter a cardiac rehab program and am so thankful I did. As far as I am concerned, he gave me my life back.

Dr. Peter Birnbaum is an extremely competent and compassionate cardiothoracic surgeon. My pre-operative appointments with Dr. Birnbaum and his staff were respectful, efficient, and many of my fears were allayed. While I was in the hospital the visits by Dr. Birnbaum and his staff cheered me. I felt that my post-operative care was being closely monitored. Dr. Birnbaum, his staff, and the St. Agnes hospital staff were all pulling for my full recovery. I am glad that I chose you as my surgeion.
