Ignores X-Ray Results and Pain
Dr. Alexakis claimed I did not have a broken wrist, despite multiple X-rays stating that I did. He refused to believe the X-rays and told me I was free to go about my daily life without any precaution. I told him I had substantial pain, but he ignored me; his nurse, witnessing my pain, suggested I try to see a physical therapist, but he ignored her. He eventually reviewed the X-rays again upon my request and only then did he admit that he was mistaken. I urge all patients to review their radiologists' notes and advocate for themselves.

No way!! Don't go to him!! My GP sent me to him for my achilles issue. He took an x-ray and fitted me for a foot boot, and then told me that I would probably need surgery. The foot boot immediately made my condition worse! I found a great physical therapy team that worked on my leg and achilles and I didn't need surgery.
