Dr. Peter Abaci, MD

Without going into anything - I've been 'treated' by Dr. Abaci for a long time. PLEASE JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

I’m pretty disappointed about what I experience today at your office. I ran into traffic so I was 15 minutes late to my appointment and when I arrive they said they wouldn’t be able to see me because I had come too late. I explain to them I was in traffic and it wasn’t safe for me to call since the Voicemail call center is menu options and it’s not a safe thing to be on the phone while driving and trying to use the manual option to get to a person to let them know you’re running late. I ended up having two appointments today. Because I was late they went ahead and cancelled the 1:40 pm without letting me know. The reason they gave me is I was late for the 1 o’clock and so they automatically canceled my appointment. I asked it’s not even 1:30 pm yet why can’t I still be seen and they said no they had already canceled the appointment. The 1:40 pm appointment was paperwork I needed filled out and Your office always tells me I need to come in face-to-face and request the paperwork before you can actually fill out the paperwork. After today’s experience I have to say this was the worst customer experience I’ve ever encountered at your office Dr. Abaci. The worst experience ever. Moví forward I will fax you any paperwork I need filled out without me having to make a special appointment.

I Have been seeing Dr. Abaci @ I.P.M. Medical Group since I moved to the Central Coast. I joined his practice which is a part of a group of Doctors called I.P.M.when my Dr. Retired. I began my treatment with Dr.Abaci in 2019. He is very kind and patient in the consultations ,and I never feel rushed. However,I have a complicated Health History due to Major Surgeries, and ongoing Chronic Pain issues. He has only seen me personally approximately 3 times in 3 years ,and I am on a 3mo.Interval schedule because he refers his patients to his N.P.( Nurse practitioner) instead. I personally feel more comfortable when my treatment is evaluated by the Doctor due to my extensive health history and past complications with my health.

I have been a patient for a few years now and Dr. Abaci is a wonderful physician. He has a kind bedside manner, is direct and to the point as well as extremely knowledgeable.
