Dr. Pete Coury, MD

I have gone to Dr. Coury for 15 years. I like the fact that he can diagnose and explain the issues you're having, and, how do resolve them. Many doctors look at you, write a prescription and you're on your way. I prefer knowing what's going on with my body and my mind. His assistants are very good as well, he does a good job at training them, that's for sure. Many of them are doing their internships with him. I would recommend Dr. Pete Coury's office to anyone. Infact, my whole family goes to this office, even my children.God Bless Dr. Coury and his staff!

Dr. Coury is a great doctor. I’ve been going to him for years now. He has seen me through some tough times and he always made informed decisions. If for some reason he’s not available, his asst. Kelly is a good choice too.

I am not sure where to start writing this review, as there is so much spectacularly wrong, both from business and medical perspectives at this practice. From the feckless non-greeting at the front door to the Nascar pit crew treatment by the doctor, I will never visit this establishment again.First of all, you should know that the doctor does not EVER respond to portal messages. I'm not even sure why they have a portal when this is the case? When I called and complained to the front office about that, they admitted that Dr. Pete Coury's 'style' is purely in-office consultation and that he would address all my concerns at my visit.Fine. I saved up my questions to ask him in person. He breezed in late, and 10 minutes later, we were wrapped, whether I wanted it to be over or not. As I was getting to my questions, he stood up suddenly and ushered me out of the door, wreathed in an angelic smile. But before I left, he managed to squeeze in that my condition will never improv

Dr Coury saved my life. I went to many pcp before him and no one listened to meDr Coury listened to me he referred me to a cardiology and I had complete blockage I had 2 stents put he saved my life My symptoms were not easy to detect and he knew it was my heart from first visit Thank you Dr Coury for saving my life

Dr. Coury thoroughly reviewed my medical history during my physical and asked me if I had any questions or him. Seperate occassion, I needed to schedule an appointment with him after an unexpected medical issue happened, but I was told it would be a month before he would be available. So I had to settle for seeing the Nurse practitioner, which I felt that experience was not very beneficial for me, unfortunately modern medicine has gone this way to make more money for a medical practice.

I BEEN GOING TO DR COURYS OFFICE WHEN FIRST OPENED MESA LOCATION ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO .NOW I GO TO BOTH LOCATIONS. LOVE THE ALL THE STAFF . I CAN GET IN EVERY TIME I CALL THE SAME DAY . I HAVE MY FAVORITES .ILL SEE ANY ONE THAT CAN SEE ME THAT AT EITHER LOCATION. WHICH MAKES IT CONVIENENT FOR ME .

Best primary care in the East Valley. He takes his time never rushes he makes you feel as you are the only patients he sees.

So caring and passionate provider I have seen many primary care in my life but no one compare to his skills. he is the best. He takes care of all my family and friends and we are all happy with the level of care provided.

Dr Pete Coury doesn’t really care about his patients. I saw him once a year and he was in a hurry to be done with me. Very rude answering my questions. Taking my money somewhere else.

I like the PAs as well as Dr Coury. I can always get an appointment when needed. I am well cared for and cared about.

Dr Pete Coury is a gift to me, & I am grateful to have Dr Coury as my PCP. He has been my PCP since 2007. I lost him for a time due to insurance issues, and when I was able, I finally got back to Dr Coury. I have a great cardiologist also. And, Dr Coury has a great, caring, & professional staff. I have to say that while I was unable to see Dr. Coury, I literally thought that the dr's I had to put up with were care nots & did not believe in "do no harm." Dr. Coury, and his staff are always pleasant, and caring, & I am so grateful for all of them. God Bless You!

I have been to several Drs in the past few years due to back and neck surgeries and I can tell you one thing ... no one holds a candle to Dr Pete Coury (except for my Surgeon, Dr Baig and my Heart Specialist Dr Yelamanchili) He was prompt, very attentive and Extremely concerned with my Well being. I feel content, FINALLY, that I have found a Dr who knows how to treat his patients. My only regret is that it took me this long to make an appointment with him. Thank you Dr Coury - I’m glad you’re younger than me.. now I can look forward to having a Dr who outlives me ! Patricia Shinn

Only get to see Dr. Coury once a year for Medicare checkup. If he spends 10 minutes with you it's a lot. Spend more time waiting in exam room for him to come in. Also see him for blood test results, once a year. When sick or hurting I only get to see his PA's unless I want to wait 2 or 3 weeks. Found another doctor. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Coury is a great diagnostic doctor and has helped me with various health issues for the last several years.

Do not use Kelly the Nurse Practitioner she comes in like she’s a 12-year-old with cold hands and has no clue what she’s doing finish the exam type and a prescription got up and left said we’re done. Didn’t know if that meant she was done or I was done or where my prescription went to or if I was supposed to wait nothing she just got up walked out of the room rudest person I’ve ever met let alone healthcare provider who obviously does not know what she’s doing yet. Must’ve missed the class on interacting with your patients. The rest of the staff at the front desk never cracked a smile none of them. Definitely not happy in their jobs

I would give a zero if I could. Dr Coury does not care about his patients, has no time for old patients, is never available. No follow up if patients have complicated issues, giving them pieces of paper to follow up on their own. I would never visit or recommend this Doctor. Patients be aware.
