He told my husband that he had a heart attack. My husband went to cardiologist...his heart was fine. He bases his diagnosis on other patients and what he read in his med school books. I wouldn’t have him treat my dog...........

Doctor Zack has been my doctor for 7 year. He takes his time explaining any and all questions. After every visit, he conveys his plan for treatment. I always have a better understanding with his approach and treatment. I am strongly recommending this Doctor if you desire a better understanding & involvement in your treatment.

I went to see Dr. Zack a month ago for pain on my right shoulder. He was quick, professional, and just a great guy. He referred me to a great Ortho doc in Merrillville, and things worked out well. His staff was awesome. Very friendly. His new office is way better than his Hobart office. Very clean and bright.

His office doesn't call prescriptions into the pharmacy in a timely manner. I waited 2 days for the office to call in my insulin. He pushed medication that is not needed. My cholesterol was 90 and he still insisted I take statins. When I expressed my concerns I was dismissed because I am "not the doctor".

I would not recommend going here, communication after appointment virtually impossible, appointments tough to make, follow up visit impossible, medication given had massive side effects. Doctor and staff DOES NOT CARE.........

When I go in and the Dr basically says I'm wasting his time it's time to look for a new Dr.... I left his office in tears and he didn't show any remorse for his actions he is a terrible man. You will learn for your self I just want people to know. Left with more questions than answers...

I went to Dr. Zack for over 15 yrs. But I like many others had an issue with his nurse Kathy. She's a rude, opinionated know it all and has no problem verbally attacking patients. I don't go to any Dr. often, but after a hospital stay was told to see my primary Dr. for follow up. After waiting over a week for an appointment his office called to say I needed to find another Dr. As it would be a conflict of interest since I don't get along with one of his nurses. His own staff said it was crappy!!

He never introduced himself when he came into the room, as I am a new patient. With me being pregnant I know he can't give me a lot of medicine with me being sick, but that doesn't give him the right to be irritated with me and rude. If he or his staff didn't want to see me, (They knew I was pregnant), all they had to do when I called to make an appointment was say so. Also, his staff wasn't friendly either. I'm definitely finding another MD to see.

So far my experience has been great. wait time was about 10 minutes. Everyone was helpful and Dr Perry took his time answering all my questions. Only down side was they referred me to get my lab work done in the hospital where is office is located and after fasting they told me that they don't take my insurance. i just made my second appointment and they got me in the next day.
