Outstanding neurosurgeon, one of the best specializing in endovascular surgeries. Warm and caring, spends as much time needed to answer questions thoroughly at the patient’s level of understanding. Could not have asked for a better surgeon. Harvard trained.

Dr. Chen is a very skillful doctor who knows what he is doing. I would NOT recommend this doctor because of his bed manner. He is extremely impatient and does not listen to what patients say. He will make you feel you are either stupid or inferior when asking him questions. He may be a great source for second opinion but not a good doctor for long term care. Houston has good amount of excellent doctors that provide great care with strong technical skills.
