Dr. Pedro Rodriguez, MD

My parents are in their 90’s and he was very enthusiastic, engaging and very patient like he had no other patients. I’m sure he was busy. He made a grim situation seem like all is okay and on life’s track. My family will always be grateful for all the help and understanding that he shared. We were lucky to have him for my parent’s doctor. Respectfully, RV

I have been a patient with Dr. Rodriguez for eight years and when I needed him most, he dropped me as a patient

Dr Rodriguez has been taking care of me for the last two years since moving to Surprise.AZ. He has replaced my last doctor of 11 years. Dr Rodriguez has provided excellent care and I am happy to be his patient. It is hard to replace a doctor that you have seen for many years, but Dr Rodriguez has filled that bill very well. I am totally satisfied with the care and friendly atmosphere he provides.

This guy is a tool. I went for blood work and the lab emailed me the results. My cholesterol was normal and Uric acid was normal but close to the top. After talking with him he said how shall we address your problem? I said what problem. Your high cholesterol??? Get you started on medication I said I had the results and it was normal. He acted very funny and said oh I read the wrong line. I was reading uric acid. If I wouldn’t of had my results he would of pushed pills on me for no reason. Beware of this character

I adore Dr. Rodriquez and I will tell you why. No matter what my issue is he listens to me and takes care of my needs. He cares so much he calls me to discuss medications with me. He is the only PCP in my entire life that is concerned for my overall health. Now that I am 66 years old I am blessed to have him.

Dr. Rodríguez alway take the time to talk about my health condition. Very professional and charismatic doctor. He always recommends less medication and give you option to have a better healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Rodriguez listens attentively to me and gives me time to ask questions. He is never rushed. He is an excellent doctor who is kept abreast of modern medicine. He is caring, compassionate and kind. He is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend him.

Office makes a lot of mistakes and promises that are not followed through with. Very difficult to reach anyone on the phone. Dr. likes to write prescriptions and does not cover anything thorough. He is very rushed in and out of the office.

I had to wait almost two hours every time I went to his office, just for a ten minute discussion with him. And I felt that he wasn't very interested in my care.

Excellent,caring,compassionate,Doctor that takes the time to listen as well as explain and if you don't understand,just ask because he is ok with answering questions. Highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez for your care,he will take care of you as best as humanly possible.

I don't feel like a number at True Care MD. Every Doctor talks to me, not over me. They listen to their patients!! Dr. Pedro Rodriguez is the best!

Dr. Rodriguez didn't seem to care that his referral writer took more than to weeks to give me my referral for Podiatry . She mistakenly wrote for foot surgeon and the second time she wrote for a podiatrist that didn't take my insurance. Upon asking for the correct referral the second time she became condescending and belligerent and threatened to call the police on me. These people have a sense of entitlement and believe they don't have to work for a living.

I am not sure where things went wrong. I can say that I was disappointed in the lack of integrity and condescending manner that I encountered with this guy. I am new to the state and never am one to leave reviews but I recommend to either use caution and have him write things down or just find a more trustworthy physician. There are several out there.
