Dr. Pedro Garciarena, MD

I am a patient of Dr. Garciarena. He has changed practices in Naples. I am a widow of a physician and know that contracts are written to prevent Docs from announcing their departure or telling you where they are going. He is my third doctor who has left their Physician Regional practice.. I found each of the three and remained in their practice.

First of all have been a patient of Dr. Garciarena for many years. Saw him in Nov 22 and all seemed fine. Called to make another appointment the next day and was told Dr. G would be leaving hospital and would have to see Dr. Garrido. Was shocked because Dr. Garcereana never mentioned a word to us. So made an appointment for March 8th 2023. I went there today and they told me the new Dr was on vacation! They said they left a message a couple of days ago, I showed them my phone with absolutely no calls or messages from them. I even pulled up my portal and it still showed that I had an appt today. I am totally disgusted with this practice and this "hospital". Will find a much better alternative.

I didn't have a chance to see Dr. Garciarena since I received a call today cancelling an appointment that I had made three weeks ago as a new patient. It was cancelled for no reason and now I can't get another one until May. I think this is totally unprofessional and rude!!! I have never had a doctor treat me this way!

The doctor is an employee at Physicians Regional in a specialty where there are no cures, only management and MRIs, so it's a hopeless visit. The staff are truly the worst, they lose faxes, appointments, and I went in person to bring my medical records, it was 4:30pm and the desk was closed and lights off with a big sign that states " Office closes at 5pm" . There was a man working there for a different doctor and he said, "oh they all went home at 3:30 because their last 2 patients no-showed" meanwhile I have been waiting for my appointment for 4 months. Unconscionable and cruel treatment, I have neuropathy and they treat their jobs like fast food, disposable and meaningless. Managers are just as bad. Will never go back! No wonder those patients no-showed.

I have found him to be helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. Have recommended him to others.

Dr. Garciarena and his nurse, Liz, provided outstanding service, seeing me on short notice, regarding an adverse reaction to a drug I was prescribed. The doctor was attentive and informative. Every experience I’ve had with Dr. Garciarena has been a positive one. He really takes the time to deal with your situation, is truly empathetic, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for any issue that falls under his expertise.

Great Doctor, answer all my questions, and all my concerns, very great full for his care, set me up with the best treatment to fallow.

Dr. Garciarena takes the time to listen to his patient, and to explain the patient's medical situation and treatment options. He is competent, compassionate and personable.

Also let’s you feel comfortable and confident to tell him exactly how you feel inside about what’s going on with your situation, therefore I would definitely recommend him to others that would need help thank you doctor enjoyed my visit

Good doctor with horrible office staff! Don't waste your time!

Competent and genuinely caring. He helped me with persistent neuralgia on an area of my face following an awful bout with Ocular Shingles. He did a thorough work up to exclude more serious causes of my condition then prescribed medication which greatly reduced my pain and also dealt with the insomnia that began with the Shingles attack. Excellent treatments and results.

Dr. Garciarena is an excellent Neurologist. He is caring and invested in the wellbeing of his patients. I highly recommend this Physician.
