A Caring, Kind, & Very Skilled Professional
I have been a patient of Dr. Pedram Hamrah for just over 8 years. Though I have a number of eye 'issues', I give him credit for maintaining the quality of vision I continue to have. Also, I have nothing but good things to say about the doctor's administrative support team. As I live 1500 miles away from Boston, that administrative support has made my 'long distance' eye care easy. I fly up to see Dr. Hamrah once a year, and have been able to deal 'virtually' with any concerns that have come up over the years. I do highly recommend Dr. Hamrah.

Turned my life around
I had suffered with debilitating eye pain for more than two years before my initial visit with Dr. Hamrah. Heoffered hope when I needed it most. And he accurately diagnosed my eye condition and prescribed the treatment I needed. As a result of myvisits with Dr. Hamrah, I am now pain free and back to enjoying a productiveand happy life. Dr. Hamrah’s care coordinator, MIchael, deserves recognition, too.His kind-hearted reassurance helpedme very much during the tough months while waiting to see Dr. Hamrah.

A Brilliant and Caring Doctor
Dr. Pedram Hamrah is a brilliant doctor. Dr. Hamrah was like the real-life version of the television character “Dr. House,” who combined his diagnostic and medical expertise to solve the most complex patient cases. He spent an hour with my daughter listening to her medical history, social background, and living environment, and related to her as a whole person. He attentively listened to her story first before examining her. His multidisciplinary team of doctors told her several times that she was fated to live in intractable pain because of neurologic damage in her ocular nerves. As they had no new ideas for managing her pain and offered her a bleak future, I promised her I would find a doctor who could help her, which turned out to be Dr. Hamrah. I am very emotional when I visualize her first visit with Dr. Hamrah. With his new and accurate diagnosis, he kindly reassured her that she could manage her pain and expect to pursue purposeful and enjoyable activities with time.

The One To Go To Ophthalmologist
1st Dr Hamrah gave me a full diagnosis and this has saved me time energy and finances as some locations will just do treatments regardless if they are appropriate as there is much misdiagnosis. The location has a device that most other locations do not that helps in diagnosis of some conditions. I now may be able to get a diagnosis which otherwise would not happen and possibly suffer longer. So glad I went here. The team at this Boston location was amazing and discreet and thorough and professional and hospitable even if it's a medical facility. They paid attention to detail and made appropriate adaptations for my special needs. Answered my questions without resistance this helped me greatly to continue pursuing treatment. I will continue to pursue treatment with Dr Hamrah just hope he's available so I can get better. Thank you for this location and staff at NEEC.
