Glad I got a second opinion.
I was having extreme discomfort in my gut, and CT and ultrasound didn't show anything. Dr. Enayati gave me medication. It didn't help. He did a colonoscopy and endoscopy, and before the procedure he asked me, 'Are you still experiencing vomiting and constipation?' I was not experiencing either of those things and never told him I had been. He was looking at my chart when he said this. After the procedure didn't provide any answers, he prescribed another medication. When I picked it up the pharmacist said, 'This is an anti-depressant. It will take six weeks to start working.' I went to another specialist and asked her what she thought of this medication. She said, 'Don't take this. This will tell your brain there's nothing wrong with your gut without addressing the problem. I don't know why he would prescribe this.' I stopped seeing Dr. Enayati, but when I tried to get my chart sent to my new doctor, his office made it impossible and I eventually gave up trying.

This office is responsible for one of the most frustrating, unprofessional medical experiences I have ever had. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for patient care. While at my first visit I believed I was in good hands with Dr Enyati, this turned out to be false. I came in to see Dr Enyati for extreme cramping, gas, and 2 months of constipation. He suggested I take a SIBO breath test which cost me 80 dollars out of pocket. I was not able to ask many questions about the test as the nurse who briefly explained it to be was rushing me out after she took my blood and told me to call her the day before with any questions. I then had to call over 10 times until I was finally able to connect with the nurse, as the office receptionist kept promising I would receive a call back. After completing the test (which required me to breath into ten different test tubes for 3 hours after a 12 hour fast and 24 hours of restricted eating) and dropped it off in person, the nurse told me their machine was broken that reads the test. I had previously been promised results in 3-4 days, and learned that this time frame would now be much longer. They scheduled a follow up call to go over my results for 2 weeks later. Another week goes by with no update on the status of the machine, and no blood test results. The following week, I called several times, with no clarity on when I would get results as the machine was still "broken". I finally got ahold of one of the PAs who tells me if I am in this much pain, they could prescribe the antibiotic for SIBO, although they still didnt have the test results. I was confused as to why they would think it’s ok to prescribe an intense antibiotic course for something I might not need or have. I reiterated how my test would have gone bad by the end of the week, as the breath only remains viable for two weeks (to which she responded well, sometimes it lasts longer than that, and itll say invalid if it does not work…) I questioned her and said why would I take a two week extreme antibiotic course for something I may or may not have, and that I didnt want all the trouble I took to do and complete the test to go to waste. I asked her if the Drs could bring my test across the street to Cedars sinai, to which she said she would need to check but if that was possible she would think they would have done that. She proceeded to tell me that their machine is different and that they require you to go in person to take the test (not do at home) and that then waitlist was long, which did not answer my question. I left that call with no answers and my frustrations only heightened. The next day which was when my follow up call was set for, I got no call and figured that meant the machine was still broken. I followed up again about my blood results to which I was told they didnt have (even though I took those 2 weeks ago, and that didnt require the use of a “broken” hydrogen breath analyzer. I then received the blood test results via email with no explanation of if the levels are normal and no response to my calls. I continued to call the office numerous times only for nobody to pick up. I sent numerous messages about wanting not only a full refund for the test, but also to get a referral to a new doctors office. They had completely broken my trust and I had no desire to continue working with this office. Nearly three weeks after I had dropped off the test, I finally get a call from someone in the office to tell me they will refund me for the test and that they are “just as frustrated as I am with the machine.” I questioned this and expressed how upset and frustrated I was, and shocked that they suggested taking medicine for something I may not even have. With all of that said, I will now have to start the testing process over again with a new doctor, and would recommend steering clear of this office!!!

Never have I ever met a doctor who cared less for his patients than Dr. Enayati. I've dealt with bad front office workers before. In this case however, both the doctor and the clinic representatives formed a united front of pure ignorance and poor service. I reached out in regards to issues with pain in my stomach. We had a phone appointment set up for an initial examination. The doctor was late by an hour to the phone appointment. He suggested a test for bacteria in my stomach. After turning in my test, we had a follow up call scheduled to discuss my results. This time he was late by 2 hours. So i called the front office, and they were surprised i didn't receive the call. They mentioned he was running late in a procedure and that he will call as soon as he is done. I received a call 2 more hours later in the afternoon. After a quick call for which he prescribed me medicine for the bacteria in my stomach, he told me to schedule a follow up appointment with the front desk to schedule a possible endoscopy. Fast forward a few weeks later, my stomach is still in pain and the issues have not gone away with the anti biotics he prescribed. As it's finally time for the follow up phone appointment, well guess what!.....he never called. I called the front desk and they were once again surprised and said he will give me a call back. I never received a call back the day of, or the entire next day after. I called the front desk again, and this time they mentioned he will be sure to call me back, but they cannot give me an estimated time. The front desk rep also had an attitude to make sure I was more frustrated than i already was. It's now going on 3 weeks without a call from the doctor, so any day now he should be calling... Look doc, I understand the tight schedule you must be working with. But have the decency to show a little care for your patients or at least hire front office workers that will show it for you. A treatment plan that didn't work + ignorance on meeting your appointments = I will not be back and here's a good luck to your business.

Very disappointing experience
I had a highly disappointing personal experience with Doctor Enayati, and in my opinion I feel like I got a very poor service. Firstly,he arrived with his assistant, who was more like a young college girl than a nurse. He introduced her without asking for my permission to discuss my health issues with her,Ifelt extremely uncomfortable sharing my problems next to her.Another issue I had with this doctor was his lack of attentiveness and effectiveness regarding my specific problem. He barely asked me any questions and didn't provide any possible diagnoses. Instead,he immediately pushed for a colonoscopy without considering other basic tests that should have been conducted first.Eventually, I had to push on additional tests. At the end of the appointment, his staff was supposed to give me a few things for stool samples, but he and his assistant left without providing anything.I waited for 30 minutes and finally decided to leave. After having this terrible experience,I have no desire to return

Awful.. In three visits, he spent a total of 15 minutes with me He never read prior reports. Never asked how I felt or let me talk. No interest in my case. He was abrupt, disinterested, and actually seemed in a hurry to get the next patient. No chance for a good ongoing exchange with my this guy. I would never never recommend him. No follow through. He could care less if I stayed or went.He wasted my time and my health was more neglected than before. DO NOT CHOOSE HIM. He cannot be trusted to do right by you.

This doctor and his staff are AWESOME!!! I have no idea how he doesn't have 5 stars. I had been dealing with gastro issues for 4 years and going to all types of doctors. Many dismissed my issues as being "mental". One visit with the Dr. and he was already scheduling tests that none of the other doctors had thought of. 1 week after meeting him I was already on the road to recovery. He patiently worked with me to return my stomach back to normalcy after 4 years of hell. Not enough good things to say about him and his fun staff. Always timely. Nice office. Great experience.

Was great at first but at a certain point it went very bad. Wait times exceed 45 minutes, and he consistently ignored even urgent phone calls. He also prescribed medication that had serious interactions with two of my other medications and even after two phone calls to his office about this, he has not responded to this day. So I just didn't take the medication and that's how it was left. Verging on malpractice. Certainly not in line with his oath as a physician. I am now finding a new doctor.
