We have been seeing Dr. Shadi for over 15 years, ever since we first met him at Cedars. My parents speak Farsi, and it’s been a huge plus that Dr. Shadi can communicate with them fluently. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable and experienced but also thoughtful and funny. Over the years, Dr. Shadi has referred us to several amazing specialists, and we’ve always felt like we’re in good hands. What really sets him apart is how he treats his patients like family—he truly cares and takes the time to answer all our questions, no matter how long or detailed they are. When he enters the room, he brings a positive energy, and it’s clear that he loves what he does. It’s always a pleasure visiting him and his friendly staff. We’re so grateful for Dr. Shadi’s care and couldn’t recommend him more.

Over the course of more than 18 years, Dr. Payam Shadi has been a cornerstone in the healthcare of both my parents. From the very beginning, his caring nature and exceptional bedside manners have stood out, instilling trust and comfort for our family. Last month, when my mother was hospitalized due to an electrolyte imbalance, Dr. Shadi's expertise shone brighter than ever. As her admitting doctor at Cedars Sinai, he handled everything with great professionalism and efficiency. It's evident that his reputation precedes him at Cedars Sinai. The staff's genuine regard for him is palpable, making any hospital experience under his care significantly smoother and more manageable for patients and their families alike. In the twilight years of their lives, it's immensely reassuring to see my elderly parents in relatively good health. There's no doubt in my mind that Dr. Shadi's contributions have played a pivotal role in this. He isn't just a doctor to us; he's an integral part of our family's well-being and peace of mind.

Dr Shadi was my father's physician a the Olympia Medical center - at first seemed very professional and doing the right things - I could not visit due to COVID to monitor my father health myself. Then, after much ado, I heard from my father that he had been in the hospital over the weekend with no improvements and had not seen the Dr. in FOUR DAYS, meanwhile his health had worsened. I struggled to get a hold of Dr. Shadi, once I finally did he said he had "handed off" my fathers care to another Dr. who had never shown up. The hospital told a different story - my father was still officially under the care of Dr. Shadi who had been absent for several days. As soon as I took a critical tone with him over the phone he was very short with me and offered to discharge my ailing father. Mind you, he had not seen his patient to make any fair judgements as to his state. My father could not walk. I got my father out of his care and into the care of a Dr. who actually acted like he gave a damn.

Terrible doctor. He has the worst bedside manner and frankly doesn’t seem to care about his patients. I was at cedars Sinai inpatient and he was my attending physician, we hardly saw or heard from him. It was such an unpleasant experience. I felt like I was just there waiting for someone besides the nurses to care.

Amazing! He deserves more than 5 stars! I walked around Cedars Sinai and told everybody I knew Dr. Shadi. They all said that they loved him and he was awesome. I don't really know why everybody is leaving such negative comments on here because most people outside of the internet are really satisfied with Shadi. I feel like if you are upset, you only review the doctor. Dr. Shadi is putting a smile on people's faces everyday and I experienced it in mid 2018. My mother was visiting Dr. Shadi, and t

Dr Shadi was probably one of the better doctors when my mom was first hospitalized with dementia in 2006. But as of January, of 2018, it was a different story with him. Even though Shadi is sleep study, Cedars assigned Shadi to my mom. It was hit and miss with Shadi when my mom first got sick. But, by the time she had her first stroke, and was institutionalized, holding on to Shadi was a continuity of care issue. The breaking point to me is when Shadi misdiagnosed, or purposely withheld, that m

Dr Shadi has been my family's physician for years. We love him and he saved my Mom many times. He is very personable, knowledgeable and always concern about my Mom's health. My Mom was recently in the hospital, he visited her twice in one night to make sure she was ok. First thing in the morning, he calls to inquire about her progress. The staff at his office is first class.. Melanie is the best.

He's very informative and helpful with my mom who is 90. He returns after hour calls, easy to talk to. Pretty easy to schedule appts, her last Dr. at UCLA would take up to a month to get an appt.
