Dr. Paulette Lewis, MD

I have been going to Dr. Lewis since 2010 and she is consistently patience, attentive and looks for solutions. She's not a "specialist", which enables her to see the entire picture and isn't limited to one issue. She allows me to run through any health concern that I have and is not afraid to reach out to another physician for their recommendations if she doesn't have an answer. Always patient, she tends to spend alot of time on my visits. She will be frank if there is a weight, high cholesterol or other health change that she feels needs to be made. That's her job. I highly recommend Dr. Lewis; she's a rare find.

Dr. Lewis was both of my adult daughters’ doctor and they highly recommended her when my 5th doctor at Arnot Health left the area. I’m so glad because she has been an amazing doctor for all of us. Extremely helpful with info when we were traveling, and not only does she address my health issues, but she will always ask how my daughters and granddaughter is. She always answers all of my questions in person or by email and I’ve never felt rushed. I’m so grateful that she’s my primary care physician!

At first she acts like she cares about you and then as time goes on she doesn’t listen or blames everything on your age or if you are a smoker. Because she was too busy blaming everything wrong with my age, smoking and weight she failed to do some testing. Decided to see someone else to find out that it was RA.

Dr. Lewis ignored my poor mothers complaints about her back pain for a YEAR! Sent her to another doctor to BURN THE NERVES IN HER BACK WITHOUT EVER ORDERING AN MRI. Well guess what , she had 2 cracked vertebrae! I also have 100% disabled daughter with MS and she would not even discuss medical marijuana or stem cell research She would not even talk to the ER doctor when my daughter was brought in YOU CAN'T CURE TARA DR. SMITH, SO THE LEAST U COULD DO WAS BE KIND TO HER. WE HAVE A BETTER VET

Dr. Lewis takes the time needed to explain my problems and the best remedy to try. She is so polite, happy and always looks her best. Sometimes I take an article, etc. to my appointments to ask her if a new med or treatment may be useful for me. She always gives me her opinion.

She has the bedside manner of a rat... Very short and ill tempered... And its so bad her nurse even warns you before she comes in too bad you dont fully understand until after youve encountered this woman.
