Hello Dr Wizman and your complete staff, I want to personally Thank you all for such an amazing process and outcome. I would like to share my personal experience, so that anyone that has any doubts questions or concerns about you and or your staff may rest at ease. My name is Miguel, I am 54 years of age and was weighing 245 lbs. I have never had any surgery of any kind, besides a colonoscopy and endoscopy, I have been having Acid Reflux for over 25 years and taking omeprazole, also I have high blood pressure. I recently was diagnosed with Gallstones and Sludge causing pain in my abdomen. My primary care physician told me I had to consult a surgeon to remove my Gallbladder and my Research began, I spent countless hours on the internet researching different doctors in Miami and beyond. I have had "internal bleeding of an unknown source" for over a year- just about dying on one occasion. I met Dr Wizman when he came to see me during my last episode and quickly figured out what my problem was and it solved it! I have not had the stomach blled in over a year now! He's fantastic!!! Oh, let me add that his staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful.

My husband and I got a phone call set up with Dr. Wizman. We were told that the dial-in info would be provided prior to the call which was at 6:00 a couple evenings later. At 5:55 we called the office because we still had no dial-in info. Dr Wizman answered our call and got us the info. Dr. Wizman seemed knowledgeable and experienced. A second call was set up with the Dr and us individually. We were told it would be a Zoom call and that the dial-in, time, etc would be provided. When that info came it showed a time for the call anywhere between 11-4. We called thinking surely they wouldn't expect anyone to sit on a Zoom call for 5 hours, waiting on the Dr to join! They confirmed they did expect that! We then received a second email, and also noticed that the Patient Portal showed the Zoom had been updated to 9am. Wonderful! We sat on the Zoom for 15. No one showed. We called the office and they said the 9am was a mistake it was 11-4! DISORGANIZED. CHAOTIC. NOT THE DR FOR US.

I had Bariatric Sleeve surgery performed by Dr. Paul Wizman. I must say that Dr. Wizman and his entire team are extremely professional, caring, and proficient. They treat you like a friend, not like you’re just another patient. I received a lot of pre-surgery information and documentation to help me prepare and understand the procedure as well as attending a group “zoom” gathering conducted by Dr. Wizman himself where information was shared and everyone’s questions were answered. Now that the surgery is over I couldn’t be more pleased. The following is an e-mail that I sent to Dr. Wizman’s office. It sums up my thoughts: I would like to thank you and your entire team for helping me by performing the surgical procedure that will be a life changer for me in so many ways: overall health, quality of life, extension of life, my mental state, my golf game. You and all of the members of the Doc Wizman team are awesome and amazing!! I appreciate YOU!!

Unfortunately there's not a score less than 1 as my experience with this MD warrants a negative zero (I know it does not exist but that's the level of my repugnance). I always want to be fair to other healthcare providers as I understand the demands of the job; however, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for any provider to not respond to patient's calls about possible emergencies. It does not matter how good any provider may boast about the success of their surgeries, what truly matters is patient care and let's not forget about the longevity of any business hinges on customer service. Dr. Wizman, I suggest you spend some time mastering this skill. If anything happen to my loved one because of your negligence, yes I said it I will use every avenue at my disposal to make sure every potential patient chooses another physician as there are other qualified bariatric physicians throughout the State of Florida.

I was one of his 1st 100 patients!!! Dr WIZMAN is amazing prior to him focusing solely on weight loss he was doing other surgeries and I asked him if he would take my dads case and he did !!! Dr WIZMAN went above and beyond and now I’m seeking him to complete my sons bypass he is extremely overweight and I’m looking into seeing about the insurance! The staff walked me through my surgery and yes they too are wonderful

Over all experience was Awesome is all I have to say ... PERIOD!!!

Dr. Wizman was definitely very professional and ensured that I understood everything about the sleeve surgery prior to having it. He was patient with all my questions and answered them clearly and honestly. He has also been very accessible after the surgery and provides his patients with his mobile number in case we need to contact him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Wizman for the VSG surgery that I had. I would also recommend MiVIP medical group as my entire experience has been awesome.

Surgery went so well. Dr. Wizman is the best and I am so glad I left myself in his hands . He has great bedside manner and is quite funny . Awesome personality. The staff is wonderful

Dr. Wizman has hands from God. He has to be the Best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He explained everything that he was going to do, told me what I could expect after surgery, was pleasant, has a great bedside manner. He even took care of a hernia I had that another dr botched. I am blessed to have met him. If anyone is considering having baratric surgery I HIGH RECOMMEND DR PAUL WIZMAN. He has hands of GOLD. He is gentle and is a real gentlemen. I was highly recommended to Dr Wizman by many people. All I can say is that as high as their recommendations were, mine are higher. Dr Wizman is a doctor who will actually listen to what you have to say, cares about what you are going through and what your needs are. He is kind, knowledgeable and caring. His staff is friendly, fast, and I never have to wait much for anything I need. Honestly, if you're considering weight loss surgery, Dr Wizman is the only doctor that you should consider.

Do not use him. After my surgery, wife was sitting in a room with many other loved ones waiting for the surgeons to tell them the results of the surgery. One by one the other surgeons came. Wizman never showed up. My wife was beside herself with worry. He never came to check on me during my hospital stay. He finally got around to discharging me at 10:00 PM. Several incisions were infected and I had to go to a wound center to be treated. He is incompetent & doesn't care about his patients

Absolutely the worst doctor on the planet. Horrible bedside manner!! First he will talk about how awesome he is and then when it comes down to the surgery and you get a horrible infection he is no where to be found. I regret with all my being that I EVER went to this so called doctor. Oh and let us not forget about his young assistant who for the last year could NEVER get the needle in the right place for the lap band fill....the great doctor wizman does not do the fills.

Please run from this so called doctor!!!! Not only does he NOT do the lap band fills, he has a novice who doesn't seem to know what he is doing. I had the misfortune to go to him after having another doctor put in the lap band. This man is a nightmare. I got an infection from the surgery HE performed and had to go to the hospital. Not only did Dr. Wizman NOT answer the hospital calls but he did not even see me for 36 hours. This is the most unprofessional Doctor EVER!!!!

I am absolutely thrilled with the treatment I received from Dr. Wizman. The surgery was very effective - I am down 75 pounds and counting in a year and feel like I'm in the best shape of my life. He is kind, compassionate and also funny but most importantly he knows exactly what he is doing. I had virtually no complications or side effects. Having this procedure done was one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you are considering Bariatric surgery I highly recommend you meet with Dr. Wizm

I have only positive things to say about Dr. Wizman and his entire staff. I have felt informed, supported, and well taken care of every step along the way.

Dr. Wizman truly cares for his patients and I brag about him on a regular basis. He is by far the best surgeon in town. I have traveled from out of town just to have him to be the one to do a procedure on me. I trust him with my life. Great doctor, great surgeon and great guy!
