From the moment I walked in the office, I was treated kindly and everything was completed efficiently. When I met with Dr. Van Der Sloot and Becca, they sat and looked at me and were patient as I asked question after question. They answered everything and gave me options. Once I made my decision, the surgery was scheduled quickly. On the day of surgery, I had plenty of time with them before the surgery and they answered additional questions I had. After surgery, I stayed overnight and they both checked on me a couple times to see how I was doing. I felt cared about and that I was not just another patient. They both have warm, caring bedside manners that were amazing to have during this stressful time for me. Thank you both for the amazing support and guidance you gave!

Extremely knowledgeable, professional and listened to all of my concerns. He removed my Thyroid, due to Thyroid Cancer in 2017. He did such an amazing job that my Thyroglobulin levels have been NEGATIVE since surgery, meaning there is no thyroid tissue left to produce this hormone. The two hour drive was absolutely worth it! Amazing doctor!

Patient is disappointed with office communication. Calls are received by general staff, transcribed and electronically forwarded. Hold times are lengthy. Patient restricted from oral intake following procedure, ongoing to present. After a ten day follow-up visit, a second test was ordered. It took over two weeks to schedule! This has caused unnecessary physical, emotional and mental stress, as nutritional intake is a liquid supplement, inadequate for patient's well-being and healing response.

Dr. Vandersloot performed my thyroid removal. He was very knowledgeable and told me exactly what to expect. He is a very caring doctor who is willing to listen to all your questions and explain everything to put you at ease.
