Dr. Paul Steinfield, MD

My recent visit to Dr. Steinfield was very helpful and informative. He is a brilliant and caring physician. He has given me much guidance regarding my recent injury. He takes his time and makes you feel at ease. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic physician. He is definitely 5 stars.

At the end of 2019 I went to Rothman Institute for extreme pain in my right hand & wrist. Saw Dr. Paul Steinfield who said it was a cyst on wrist & pinched nerve in the elbow. Gave me a steroid shot & told me to come back in 4 weeks. Steroid relieved pain for 1 day. Returned month later, was given another shot & told to return in 6 weeks. Unable to stand the pain for that long I called in February to schedule the surgery that he had said would get rid of the pain - release pinched nerve in right elbow even though the elbow did not hurt at all. Surgery completed in March 2020. Over 2 years later I still have pain in hand & wrist, but the pain in my elbow is excruciating & much worse than what I was to be treated for. Being "treated" by Dr. Steinfield was not just a waste of time & money, it has made my pain so much worse. Yesterday Calling him a doctor has to be a joke & is in poor taste. Too bad I had to give him even one star because he deserves none.

He is absolutely the best orthopedic surgeon in the area. He listens, he cares, his evaluation skills are excellent and he is a tremendous surgeon.

I first saw Dr. Steinfield in 1998 for a torn ligament in my knee. He really helped me. I later saw him for a spur on my heel. Again, he was great ! I saw him at Rothman for back and knee pain and followed him now to Nazareth. I would highly recommend Dr. Steinfield ! He has many years of experience and is a skilled professional. It is evident that he cares about his patients !

Dr Steinfeld is the best he listens and is caring I been to him for a few years and ever time he fixes the proplem that I have he's the best

I have known Dr.Steinfield for a very Ling time and he has helped me a lot with my issues . He has done surgeries on my ankle . He is very courteous and listens carefully

Very knowledgeable and spent time- ample time with me and not an assistant who sees you for a minute to tell you to come back in 6 months. Will be referring everyone to him and glad he is back in Northeast Philly!

Dr. Steinfield operated on my hand and did a wonderful job with carpel tunnel. There is no scare and the wrist works fine. Also, did evaluation of my hip. I understand that he is no longer with Rothman. So sorry to see him go. He was a good surgeon!

Dr. Steinfield is great. He reviews your films, listens to your problem, asks questions, and suggests options, then, upon mutual agreement proceeds with treatment. Thanks Doc

Dr Steinfield is wonderful! I was In the hospital and he was my orthopedic surgeon consult . I found Sr Steinfield to be very attentive, calm , interested in my concerns . I never felt rushed in the hospital or at his office. He has a gentle bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable! I highly recommend Dr Paul Steinfield!

The office was so well run. Receptionist was pleasant, calm & smiled!! All parts of the waiting room& Dr,Steinfield’office were neat & clean. Dr Steinfield listened to me, asked questions & did an exam on my leg & back He made some recommendations & i’m my way to healing.
