Dr. Paul Ravenna, MD

I've been seeing Dr Ravenna for a few years now. I have been do impressed with his approach to care. Firstly, he makes me feel very relaxed when seeing him. Secondly, he is a very good listener and follows up on my health concerns in a timely manner. I feel very fortunate to have him as my primary physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ravenna’s since 2018. He is attentive, patient, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I never feel rushed and I always feel heard and understood during my appointments. He is also responsive if I call or send a message with a question or concern. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ravenna is the worst physician I have ever had, and I'm old enough to have seen many over the years. He made an authoritarian treatment decision, with which I disagreed, and which had a dramatically negative impact on my health. I strongly regret not finding another doctor immediately. My health was consequently quite compromised. I have worked with a specialist the past 1 1/2 years to restore my health and am doing somewhat better. I reviewed Paul's medical notes, which were replete with history, treatment, diagnostic and patient response errors, and which informed his treatment direction. I wondered how well he listened to me during appointments. He can be empathic and caring at times, but disdainful and cold at other times. In general, his presentation was inconsistent across appointments. He gave me two very inaccurate diagnoses, one later corrected by a better trained physician. His errors reflected poor medical knowledge. He really still needs to work under supervision.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ravenna for about 3 years now, and I have experienced him as kind, thoughtful, and most importantly, an excellent physician. He is thorough without ordering needless tests; he is efficient without rushing. He likes to guide his patients through lifestyle changes before putting them on medications, a practice I admire; however, when medication is needed he won't hesitate to do whatever it takes to ensure you can live a healthy life.

He is kind and patient as well as knowledgeable.

I found Dr. Ravenna after moving to the city and looking for primary care physicians in the area with great reviews. He's progressive, punctual and attentive and listened to my history and all of my concerns. He is also extremely responsive on the MyChart app which has made scheduling and facilitating my medical plans and treatments a breeze.

Dr, Ravenna is one of Best,Best (Dr) Ever here in chicago. I thank him for reaching out we always come out with a plan or goal to help better my situation as been Diabetic i'm feeling Great going forward feeling healthy.
