The Best
Professional, caring, listens, empathetic, and the list could go on. I feel so lucky to have had Dr. Rath take me under his wing as a patient. I am 5 weeks post surgery for a fusion of my right big toe. Everything he and his staff have told/advised us on has been true. Outstanding provider and his staff follow in his foot steps. Top providers for sure.

No PT
I had a tendon repair surgery in 5/2020. After spending 6 weeks in a boot with no weight bearing. When that time was over Dr Rath told me to just start walking on it with no physical therapy or transition. 2 years later I’ve had to have another surgery because that tendon shredded and another one tore. I’ve been in constant pain. I hope he’s changed his philosophy about gradual weight and PT.

Dr. Rath was professional and personable. His entire staff was very accommodating and professional. There was no wait and Dr. Rath took the necessary time to diagnose and treat my ankle injury without me feeling rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Rath and his team.

It's his policy to require all patients to have X-rays done BEFORE he will even see you, regardless of what's wrong with you. So if your going in for muscle, soft tissue, or tendon issues he will still demand an x-ray before seeing you. We found out this was a violation of our insurance policy as it's a way for them to bill for more money and is considered unnecessary medically their fore not covered by insurance. He was not reasonable to speak with and his staff is rude. This was a horrible experience and a waste of time and money.

I don’t know what my outcome would have been if I had not found Dr. Rath. Suffered a bad fall while on vacation in Colorado. By the time I made it to my first consult with Dr. Rath he broke the bad news I would need 2 surgeries on my ankle- I was a complicated case! First an external fixation surgery, then the final surgery to repair the fractures. Everything went smoothly. Dr. Rath truly seems to put his whole heart into caring for his patients. I’m on the road to making a full recovery & I’m so thankful for the care I received.

About 5 years ago I suffered a triple break of my ankle. Dr, Rath managed to perfectly align my foot which was displaced about 1/4 inch. The fibula was broken very close to my foot. He put in a plate and 12 screws and today I hike, run, climb, dance, do martial arts, yoga. It's just like new. Thank you Dr. Rath.

Dr Rath was fantastic! He repaired my torn achilles tendon. He and his staff are very professional and they gave me the absolute best care possible. I'm hoping that I will never need to use him again but if I suffer another injury he would be my first call. I am a high school baseball coach, my injury occured on a Saturday. It was a workers comp injury and I had heard of horror stories dealing with workers comp. Not in Dr. Rath's case at all. Surgery was done almost immediately. He's great!
