Terrible Healthcare
I used this office for approximately 7 years to manage multiple health issues. Turns out they were treating me through their own ableist, judgmental lens. They are very narrow minded and do not have the patient’s best interest at heart. I would never recommend anyone go to this office.

Dr. Porter is always personable and thorough. No long waits in the lobby if you have an appointment. Between my wife and I we have a rather broad range of medical needs and he is quite knowledgeable. When a referral is needed he is quick to suggest it and his office will make the appointment for us. His cost is reasonable (a big factor since we don't have insurance) and he always takes cost into consideration in his recommendations.

Dr. Porter is a very good physician. He is understanding and listens very well. I admire Dr. Porter as a doctor; however I left his care. I was not a very good patient. I am responsible for the problems I had in his care. He handled things very professionally. Later I had my thyroid removed and was told that it caused my moodiness. I am now doing much better with my behavior now. I feel I made a big mistake leaving his care.

Saying Dr. Porter is my family doctor would be an understatement. He cares for every single one of my family members. Very caring, professional, and patient oriented physician. He takes his time with each office visit and listens to what I have to say. He explains any new medications he might want to add, any test or lab work he is running. And he makes sure you are aware of whats going on with your health. He is a very compassionate and Christian man and I would highly recommend him as a doctor

False diagnosis. Nursing staff is horrible. Sent to wrong specialist caused by nurses. Told I was a diabetic when my A1C was barely in the prediabetic range. Told I needed to lose weight quickly and could lose up to 30 pounds in three months if I purchased into their food program but came back after losing 30 pounds on my own and was told it was not healthy and I was losing weight to fast. Have already recommended to my family members to leave as quickly as possible.

Always take time to visit along with treating. He never gets in a hurry to rush his patients through. My wife and I have been treated by him for more than twenty years now.
