I WAS a patient for years until my last apt when a new female came into the office and basically rushed me out. I had done blood work and seen Dr. P for several years, prior to this. I did not see the Dr and was told they would call me to follow up and schedule my next visit. I NEVER heard back or got return phone calls. Sad, I liked working with him, but have moved on. Terrible experience.

After lab tests run by our primary care provider came back positive, I asked for a referral to Dr. Pickrell (recommended by a friend). I was able to get a new patient appointment for the next week due to a cancellation. Dr. Pickrell's nurse met with us first and listened to my daughter's medical history. Then the doctor came in and listened as well. He is still in the process of diagnosing her and coming up with a treatment plan, but he is the first doctor to take her symptoms seriously.

I called Dr. Pickrell's office and left 2 messages over two days as a new patient and his staff never called me. I then left a message for his "office manager" who also has never called me. I know Dr. Pickrell is a very good doctor but he is a fool to let crappy idiotic lazy office staff run his office. This lowers my opinion of him. He clearly does not care that much about his patients or he would correct this dysfunctional front end staff. Go somewhere else you won't even get an appointment.

If you have read the reviews about Dr P, there isn't much more that I can add other than the all 5 stars. I have Psoriatic Arthritis without a blood marker indicating such. I do have topical Psoriasis so there is evidence. I also have low back disk issues and for years I have been getting questioned by spine doctors about my levels of pain. My spine Dr's PA sent me to Dr. P with the notion that he might just send me back. He did not, he listened to my entire story and is a blessing.
