Women Beware
I shared my ongoing symptoms with Mr. Paul O'Leary because they had been worsening and his exact words to me were, 'welcome to motherhood,'... this was 6 months or more after having my SECOND child. At the same appointment, he would not refer me to a specialist (cardiologist) after an irregular heartbeat had been found during an urgent care visit. I switched doctors and it turned out that I had multiple autoimmunes and some serious issues that needed to be addressed and treated, not downplayed and attributed to my gender, motherhood, hormones, etc. That was my last appointment with him after several prior visits. I highly advise women to seek care elsewhere. The next doctor I saw after switching listens and takes my symptoms seriously, and therefore remains my primary care doctor for over a decade. I share my experience because my diagnoses would have taken much longer to receive than they already did, or might not have been found due to his negligence if I had remained his patient.

Excellent medical care
Dr. O'Leary is very well trained in medicine and in communication. He provided excellent medical care and he is very professional. He has identified my need for a pacemaker and for a colonoscopy in the last year. I am thankful for his expertise and attention to detail.

Having to find a new PCP was scary, after being at mine from age 5-23. But when I found Dr. O'Leary, my worries went away. He talks to you so calmly, you feel like you've known him forever. He's very thorough with his visit, not just in and out. If he's not certain of something or feels you should see a specialist (i.e. my heart condition) he recommends you that very same day!
