Oct 15 2019 will be a year Dr Lux replaced both my knees at the same time. People said I was crazy for doing the bi lateral. Went back to work in 10 weeks. We drove 240 miles from north central Arkansas. Well worth it l left hospital with less pain than when I entered. Wonderful Dr and staff

Dr. Lux did my right knee in December 2009. Going through post operative pain after a knee replacement and then rehab is extremely challenging. As Dr. Lux told me he did 5 % and the next 95% was up to me. I dedicated myself to my rehab and had a great result. Dr. Lux is easy to talk to has a good bedside manner. His office staff was responsive and easy to deal with. I just had my left knee done 12/4/17 and I am one week post surgery and I hope this is my last knee replacement surgery.

Dr. Lux replaced both my knees. The first knee was about 6 years ago, the second knee was almost a year ago. He knows what he's doing. Excellent bedside manner, easy to talk to, friendly and has a great sense of humor. Kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable.

I told him on several occasions my hip pinning was not right. He told me to go home and take Prozac! I went to the head of the program and he was furious that I was misdiagnosed. No thanks to Dr Lux did I finally get relief after 18 awful months.

I had knee replacement a year ago & I wish I hadn't done it. It is worse than before the surgery. Dr.Lux did my surgery. I am disappointed, I really thought I had the best doctor.

I have a new life with 2 new hips! This is amazing and life CHANGING. Dr. Lux is an excellent surgeon and his PA Frank is awesome too ---Remember surgery is one part doctor and too many numerous parts you! You have to put the time and work in to heel- no one can do it for you! You are responsible for the SHAPE you arrive in- recognize this and RESPECT it. I was ready and I did Great! Barnes WEST is 5 star as well. A great hospital that has a "at home" feel- it's not intimidating at all.

He did my knee replacements nearly 10 years ago. I was terrified to have it done but he was so positive about good results he gave me the courage to get it done. The surgeries were successful and I felt well taken care of. I saw him again recently needing hip replacements. I had a afib related stroke nearly 3 years ago. He told me I was between a rock and a hard place. Even though I quite obviously needed surgery due to RA deteriation I should medicate and stay as I am.

I had a total knee replacement surgery. The surgery itself went well, but Dr. Lutz did not let me know the dates he would be gone on vacation following the surgery thus who we should expect to contact if there were problems. I developed cellulitis and had difficulty with the home health nurse care. I asked my wife to call Dr Lutz's office for notification of the cellulitis symptoms and an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. The office staff and nurse practitioner were rude and unprofessional.

I was misled about who would be helping with the surgery. When I had difficulty with the result he fabricated a story to put me off. It turns out that to keep on his schedule tremendous Trauma was done to the muscles in my leg. I am being treated as if I had an injury due to an accident and it seem to be helping.
