Dr. Paul Kloostra, DDS

Asking a stranger to take your face apart and put it back together takes a leap of faith, to say the least. I’m currently 6 months post double jaw surgery (LeFort I and BSSO). From my first pre-surgical appointment through all of my follow-ups, Dr. Kloostra has been a calm, caring, professional presence. He answered all of my questions and took all of my concerns seriously. Dr. Kloostra made a thorough plan for my surgery and explained it to me clearly to make sure I knew exactly what to expect and would be comfortable with the process. He responded promptly (and personally) to all my concerns while I was healing. I am not surprised to see 100% 5-star reviews on this site, because he definitely provides 5-star care. I’m happy with my outcome medically, and also glad to have had an experience where I felt very well cared for.

He has the best bedside manner and actually listens and explains. He’s done wonderful work

My teenage son’s late mandibular growth was remedied and his jaw restored to perfection by Dr. Kloostra. Patient (and his parents) felt totally at ease and confident in the care of Dr. Kloostra and his colleagues. He presented choices and was willing to work with what my son felt like he was comfortable with. I’d recommend Dr. Kloostra 100%.

After already having surgeries done by other doctors for my cleft lip & palate, I started seeing Dr.Kloostra. He was always patient, kind, caring, & understanding. I have anxiety and PTSD & he did everything he could to make sure I felt safe and calm, & I know that couldn’t have been an easy job. But he was the absolute best surgeon/doctor I have ever seen. I am forever grateful for everything he did for me. It’s been about 2 or 3 years since he did my final surgery and I’m still beyond grateful for everything. He’s an amazing surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Kloostra and his staff are wonderful. He took his time and treated us so kind. He is very thorough and efficient. My son had a Class III malocclusion and he made us feel very aware and comfortable about our choices. The surgery went well and we cannot be more appreciative. We would highly recommend.

Dr. Kloostra has helped me through so very much!! He basically saved my life after a car accident in 2016. All my facial bones were broken, some shattered, and Dr. Kloostra did an amazing job!! I actually look normal! Recently, Dr. Kloostra repaired my broken mandible by placing plates and screws internally. His bedside manner is outstanding!! He always puts me at ease in the most scary and stressful situations and takes his time explaining what's going on and making sure his patient understands. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. As a person and physician, he is awesome all the way around. I would highly recommend Dr. Kloostra.

I met with Dr. Kloostra today for a consultation to have my wisdom teeth removed. His bedside manner is top notch! I went in there scared to death and he was so kind and patient. He listened to all of my questions and answered them thoroughly. I am not dredding going back to have it done now at all. All of his staff was amazing! The nurse helped me to laugh which relaxed me. She took the time to listen to me as well. Hunter checked us out and scheduled my appointment. I give this office 10 stars

Dr. Kloostra and Dr. Shumate did an amazing job at removing an abscess from my jaw. My face was extremely swollen and very painful. They explained the entire process before surgery and continued to check up on me throughout the healing process. I highly recommend them!

I thank God that Dr. Kloostra, Dr. Shupak and the rest of his staff are the ones who took care of me! ..I had to have my jaw completely cut off and bolted back on.. I was SO scared, but I NEVER felt even the slightest bit of discomfort or pain... Thank God.. and the only scar I'm going to have is a tiny dot.. Thank you SO much for taking such good care of me... You have No idea how much you're appreciated!!

I highly recommend him! I am petrified of the dentist, and haven't been in a long time, but I have to say that it was the most comfortable I have felt at any dentist. They were really friendly, clean, and fast...which I liked very much so. Lol I had 3 wisdom teeth pulled and I had no pain afterwards. I am very impressed.

Dr. Kloostra performed jaw surgery on my daughter. He was very patient and answered all our questions. He did a great job explaining the procedure and that really made her more comfortable with going thru it. We had no problems getting in to see him and he gave us his phone number post surgery so that we could keep in touch with questions about her recovery. I highly recommend!

He is wonderful and very carring for his patient, he explained everything to me and made sure I was ready for my surgery I had an Upper Lower Jaw realignment. He made sure he checked on me adn before I left he gave my mother his number and said to text or call anytime for any reason witch made me feel better. And he never rushed me to leave o reven to have the surgery witch was reasuring for me to not be scared about the surgery. And I have had surgerys before but he has been the best.

Dr. Kloostra is an amazing Doctor. He is very patient and understanding, explains everything that needs done to where you can understand and leaves you with no questions to ask. I very much so recommend him!! my son and myself we are greatly appreciative of Dr. Kloostra

Dr. Kloostra and his team preformed skull surgery on my 16 month old granddaughter on January 18, 2016 they were very good at keeping us updated on how surgery was going he explained to us what he was going to be doing and after he explained to us what they had done on the day we were discharged from hospital with in an hour of him becoming a daddy he was in my granddaughters room to check on her before she went home in my opinion there is not a better team of doctors
