I gave him one star because he came recommended. I have Behcet’s it can cause uveitis and is the leading cause of blindness in Asia. I made an initial appointment and Dr.Gaudio looked at my eyes and said yes you have Behcets. I didn’t need his confirmation I had been in treatment for ten years for the disease and my eye doc had retired but I went with him, then I got a small lesion on my eyelid so as with any lesion in the eye I’m supposed to call and be seen immediately ( as per Behcets ) he never called beck. And I went into a serious fatigue flare and slept my entire lower lid swelled with a lesion that I looked like the walking dead and when I was finally seen, I asked why the office never called back. Dr. Paul Gaudio said “I don’t call any patients back unless their eye is falling out!” He is rude and arrogant and lucky for me it was just a stye but I have a diagnosis of Behcets and that could have been much worse! He is careless, arrogant, rude and a bad doctor!

I had my first case of uveitis and went to see Dr Paul Gaudio in May 2018. He put me on a medication schedule that completely cleared it up with no lingering side effects. It took three months before I felt I could see well again. I had complete confidence in Dr Gaudio and am so glad I found him! I was diagnosed by my Optomotrist and saw a couple of Opthomologists before I found Dr Gaudio. Luckily I saw him within a few days of getting diagnosed. So thankful!

The medical profession revolves around more than just a great doctor. This office has support staff that raises to the level of elite. The first step in establishing the doctor/patient relationship starts with office support staff. I want to acknowledge the outstanding service of three individuals. Front desk administrators Carmen and Gina were instrumental in offering an amazing referral to a doctor in Shelton. CT who previously worked at Eye Disease Consultants. This doctor specializes in fitting specialty contact lenses for Keratoconus. The referral was life changing. Both are a tremendous asset to this practice. Office manager Nellie/Nelly runs the office with precision. She works closely with staff. The special and unique comradery between these three staff members leads to patient satisfaction from a business perspective. I highly recommend the office of Dr. Paul Gaudio for all ophthalmology services he specializes in. Gina, Carmen & Nelly/Nellie are a valuable assets.

Saw the eye surgeon, Paul Gaudio, today for the 24 hour follow up - cataract surgery. “Excellent” he said; “a miracle” I said. “No worries” as the Australians say. Come back in 3 weeks to be measured for new specs. Could fly even today, swim after Monday, bend over to pick up things no problem. We’ve opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate (and Valentine’s Day).

I have been a patient for several years for chronic uveitis. Dr. Gaudio helped me after being treated by several other doctors who were not able to help. Dr.Gauio is by far the best! Three years ago I moved to northeastern PA. No doctor in the area was able to help when my uveitis reccurred. The drive to Dr Gaudio is about three hours but I will continue to seek treatment from Dr. Gaudio without any regard to distance. In addition to superior medical skills, Dr. Gaudio is a true gentleman.
