Dr. Paul Duong, MD

My husband wasn't feeling well a week ago and was taken to Deer Valley ER and went into full cardiac arrest in the ER. I told the ER doc that Dr. Duong was my husband doc. He immediately called Duong and he arrived at the hospital in 15 mins. He quickly took my husband to the Cath lab and put in 3 stents. 3 days later my husband is home and doing well. We trust dr. Duong and Dr. Nguyen 100%, excellent docs that really care about their patients. Dr. Duong literally saved my husbands life!

I first met him when I had a left heart cath. He answered any questions I had and paid attention to my history of severe allergy reaction to aspirin as it was used during this surgery on a regular basis. The office staff at the clinic were attentive and helpful and returned calls in a timely manner. At the follow up appointment after my surgery he explained results well. I wrote down my additional questions as I might have forgotten them if I hadn't had them in front of me. The surgery staff very supportive and helpful.

I have been going to Dr. Doung for 6 years. During that time, he and his staff have taken very good care of me. He is really good to work with. What I mean by that is that he takes the time to explain your condition and the options for treating it, so that you can help make an informed decision that works for both of you. I have seen hundreds of doctors in my life, and he ranks near the top. Thanks Dr. Doung and the staff at Southwest Desert Cardiology.

Dr, Duong is great and very knowledgable and extremely niceto talk to., however his staff on the phones are rude and unprofessional. i am put on hold for 40 and 45 minutes every time i call and they have never returned a call when they said they would.

Saw me in the emergency room and has continued my care as an outpatient. Explains his decisions regarding my care clearly with me and my wife. Always asks if I have questions. Would recommend him to other friends and family.

Dr. Duong is a great doctor! he has a great bedside manner. He spent a long time with me and answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease!

Dr. Duong is easy to approach and talk to but you must have questions for him as he doesn't normally volunteer information that might be important to you. I would highly recommend him.
