Thorough and Patient Doctor
By the time you need a pain specialist, you have already been through a lot. I am grateful to be working w/ Dr. Desmarais. Dr. Desmarais listened thoroughly, carefully, and empathetically to my history and my experiences and developed a well-rounded treatment plan. He and his staff worked to get me pricing, insurance, and scheduling options for potential procedures and sought to get me in for the procedure as quickly as possible! Also his appointment and procedure schedule seem to have a lot more availability than others in this specialty around town. A few cons about the location - If you have mobility issues, know it's a long walk from the parking garage. Also, a pain clinic should have more comfort-focused exam room furniture - I have to be laying down to manage my pain, chairs don't work for me.
