Unpleasant Experience
Dr. Crowe was rude, dismissive, uninterested and questioned why I was there. I was there because one of the nurses changed my original appointment with a different TCO doctor, for a consult, to a surgeon. It was an internal mistake that apparently I was responsible for.

Rushed & Poor Follow Up
Saw him twice for back issues. Obviously knowledgeable, but poor people skills. In 2 appts probably was with him less than 10 mins. Very matter of fact. No talk about alternative treatments, options, etc. In both appointments, he said we was going to do something and each time I had to follow up after a week to get the ball rolling again.

Impersonal and rude. Left before I could ask anything. I had to catch him in the hallway to ask a couple questions, which he answered in the hallway where anyone could hear. Did not get the opportunity to ask other questions I had. Would not recommend.

The visits and the surgery went fantastic. He was so helpful. He made sure I understood what was happening and why. The day of the surgery went great. I've had the same done by another doctor and it did not go as well. I was perhaps the best surgery I've had. I was able to get back going so much faster than when the other doctor did the same thing 5 years age. Pretty good considering I'm that much older now. I would recommend Dr Crowe and his team to anyone need back surgery.

1st surgery went fine till 4 years later, reoccurring pain in my lower back from a work injury, was told I needed a fusion and was too fat for his operating table. He backed me in getting WC to pay for bariatric surgery, and did just so. Lost 130 lbs and finally the day I waited for and he comes in just before surgery and says" we both know you need a fusion but I dont have time allotted for that so I'll go in and clean things up a bit, and go from their." Worse off now then when my back was literally broken.

Dr. Crowe, Brianna and Jennifer make an excellent team. I saw Brianna first and after taking a good amount of time with me covering my previous MRI and X-Ray, I made a decision to do physical therapy first and later an injection. Was pain free after the injection until I fell. Jennifer was wonderful in getting me an appt right away with Dr. Crowe after the fall as I didn't know if I had damaged my hip implant. MRI and X-ray were done and Dr. Crowe explained the results and suggested treatments. He was very prompt in calling me the next day with his suggested options. Dr. Crowe did back surgery on my husband years ago and that is one of the reasons I sought him out for myself. His treatment plan met my expectations as I move forward with treatment.

Dr. Crowe is a skilled surgeon, conservative in his decision making processes, and takes the time to understand the issue at hand. Unfortunately, I had to have surgery. 6 months after surgery, I was fully cured, and 1 year later I feel absolutely fantastic. I am indebted to Dr. Crowe.

I have had two back operations performed by Dr. Paul Crowe this year. I am very pleased with him and his entire team. I highly recommend Dr. Crowe. I have noticed patients complain about bedside manner in other reviews. I chose Dr. Crowe on his credentials as a surgeon, not as someone I am looking to go out to lunch with. With that being said, I have not experienced poor bedside manners from him. My surgical outcomes were great and I found him to be personable!

Dr. Crowe has been my spine and knee surgeon for 26 years and he is the only spine and knee doctor I will use. After experiencing severe lower back and sciatica pain, Dr. Crowe has time and again eliminated the pain and returned my quality of life to 100%. Dr. Crowe has performed a laminectomy, a diskectomy and a spinal fusion on my degenerative disks and I feel great!! My mobility has not been affected and I have returned to a normal life. Dr. Crowe has also eliminated my knee pain by scoping
