Horrible
This man does not need to be a Dr. We took my mother in law who has declined rapidly in the last 6 months, can't remember anything or anyone, can't do normal daily functions, has lost over 80lbs in 6months and much more. It's very worrisome and this Dr showed no compassion and said he had real emergencies to deal with not a woman that's just depressed. He would do not test at all and wouldn't give a referral to get her help . He needs to be fired

If there was less than 1 star that would have been a more accurate review. Likelyhood of recommending to anyone else is at a 0%. Frankly it is a scary notion this man is practicing medicine and dealing with patients. 0 compassion, unwillingness to help is astonishing considering he is an er physician. I have never received such horrible care in my entire life. Physically put into tears by him. Shameful

Dr. Paul Courtwright is lacking in compassion. As he stated ... The beds at GHS Memorial are reserved for patients that can be helped. So I am assuming my 80 year old mother is beyond help. Very rude. During an emergent situation we do not have control over the physician we see but we do have control over the hospital we go to. As Dr. Courtwright grows in his progression I pray he grows in his compassion and looses a bit of his "God" complex.
