Tooth Extraction
Dr. Ciuci did extraction of my upper molar. He was knowledgeable, patient answering all of my question and was kind. I was nervous but he helped with that and the whole process went smooth. I would recommend Dr. Ciuci to family and friends. Cheryl G. Ansonia

Poor follow up and care. No star if I could
My son’s wisdom teeth removal got infected 2x. When I asked to see the doctor, they told me I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. My son has a definite infection and swollen face on the one side. I asked for another dr. Since Ciuci was away and she would not refer him to any other colleague. The response was that’s all we can do. My concern is letting an infection go that long, and they would not provide another antibiotic since the first one did not work. For us Dr. Ciuci seems to get us in the door, get our money and bye bye. What doctor makes an infection go that long. One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a Dr.

Poor follow up with patient concerns – Sep 13, 2022

This is NOT a practice I would recommend after a most unpleasant experience when my wife had a terrible toothache after being referred as an emergency on a Saturday. We were greeted by a receptionist who promptly asked for $160 upfront. After an xray she was seen by the oral surgeon but NOT EXAMINED. He only looked at the films and told her he could not administer lidocaine to do an extraction because she had been taking a sulfa antibiotic. I am a MD physician with over 40 years of experience and have never heard such a statement. It is a total falsehood which was even confirmed by 3 other dentist friends! My wife had to suffer 2 more days of pain. As a professional myself, I am totally dismayed by the lack of sensitivity by this office. To top it off, when I called twice to speak with the office manager on Monday she didn't have the decency to return my call, let alone the dentist himself. I would NOT endorse this practice which seems more focused on fee collection than care.

Meeting with the Dr. was fine, but the office staff not helpful at all. Terrible at returning phone calls and not willing to work with you. Very disappointing.

Dr. Ciuci did an extraction for me in the Milford office, the office staff was wonderful, and Dr.Ciuci was fantastic, everyone was personable, pleasant, and kind, I felt at ease and I knew I was in good hands. I have sent others to Dr. Ciuci and would recommend to anyone who is seeking great dental care and a comfortable experience.
