What stands out most about not just Dr Martin but his whole office is there unwillingness to help you with pain they look for any example or any other medication to give you that doesn't help you one bit to where you have to go to the emergency room two nights in a row because that's what they tell you to do rather than just give you a prescription to help you never once has he written a prescription for me and because of it been doing this making phone calls for 5 days they wrote down that I threatened the doctor and staff which is completely untrue if wanting to be respected and treated the way I'm supposed to be as a patient if that's threatening then I guess it is but never have I been treated so badly by not just an individual but by a whole office and I have cancer on top of urology problem

Was diagnosed with Ureter carcinoma in January 2023. Dr. Bretton referred me to onocologist, and also went up to the Moffitt Center. They both suggested chemo. I know the outcome of that, and I chose a nephroctomy instead. Dr. Bretton removed my kidney and ureter. Excellent communication with him and office staff before and now still after the procedure a year later. They are all professional and compassionate.

Had procedure done there. Their equipment is very old. Had this done with another dr. And went much better. The wait times are long long long. Plus during procedure Dr brought in 2 interns to watch. Never asked me and I wasn’t even covered up for exam. Very degrading

Dr. Bretton Diagnosed a cystic condition that required immediate surgery. He kept me well informed and ordered a number of specialized tests to zero in on the condition. He conducted the surgery and offered excellent after procedure care and communication. I was impressed with his training and concern for me the patient.

Had concerns about enlarged prostrate from my MRI. Primary care doctor thought it was a stat case. Called for 11 days with no response from anyone. I’m disappointed in ancillary personnel not responding due to Dr Bretton’s non response for scheduling. Finally went to another Urologist.

Dr Bretton has always had a clear, logical approach to my medical issues. He took my age into mapping how to proceed and it has worked flawlessly.

I liked Dr. Bretton's skillful assessment of my problem and what treatment is best for me. He went step by step with detailed explanation, pros and cons to help me decide if I choose surgery.

I was standing outside, looking a bit lost since this was my first ever visit here, a lady came outside to help me. The same mind set continued throughout my visit. Thanks to a great team.

Dr Bretton is an excellent and compassionate doctor. I first met Dr Bretton when I went to the ER In intense pain with a large kidney stone that wouldn’t pass. He surgically removed it. I had no problems. At this time he noticed I had a slightly elevated PSA. I had a 10 stick prostate biopsy that was benign. Over the next two years my Psi continued to slowly rise so he ordered a MRI that showed two small suspicious spots that he later biopsies. There was a very small slow growing tumor of Gleason scale 2. I couldn’t have asked for a better urologist that is also a oncologist. I trust him with my life.
