Patti took the time to listen to my concerns and actually take action where other doctors have just been dismissive. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to working with her on my health issues.

I like Dr. Brettell's attitude. She's very no nonsense, and I think that may make some people feel misunderstood, but she cares about how you're doing and wants to see you actually improve and not just coast along. I've had myasthenia gravis for a long time, and she's the first doctor who bothered to make changes to my treatment, and it has made a huge difference.

Not the doctor you want if you have been on successful long term care for MS. She had Pre-conceived notions on how to handle someone with MS, and did not expect to have a patient that knew more than was written in her file. She is too close to the diagnosis. I believe that she would be a great doctor for ANY other Neurological diagnosis, but if you are a smart person who understands what WORKS for you, and argue that you don’t like what she is suggesting expect and argument. I’m not afraid to be my own advocate. Neither should anyone else. It really should be Okay to ask why?

Worst doctor I have ever seen. She told me she is the doctor and I am the patient and that I don't talk but she does! Then proceeded to diagnose me in the first ten minutes for 2, off the wall ridiculous diagnoses, which I wasn't there for anything similar to those problems. Frankly she was extremely rude, and condescending. I was so close to leaving but I waited 6 months to see her, so decided not to say another word, and I didn't.

Dr. Brettell's demeanor changes quickly from highly energetic, animated & inquisitive to combative, dismissive and rude. Initially, she asked in-depth questions and referred me for testing. I felt she really cared to find the cause of my symptoms. However, nothing showed in these first tests. 2 yrs later, still experiencing symptoms, I saw her again, only to have to defend myself for even being there! In short, making me feel like I was making it all up. Sorry to take up your time, Dr.

I made this appt. 3 mo. in advance only to find out the day of the, appt. that it had been cancelled because they did not have my chart notes! With 3 months advance notice they waited until the day before to contact my doctor to get chart notes and because my dr. Was not in the office, my appointment got cancelled. Terrible way to conduct business! Very poor way to treat patients. She may be a great dr. But the next appointment I could get is April 24, 2018., a 4 mo wait. a total of 7 month wait!

Dr. Brettell helped me through Tranverse Myelitis. She was very supportive and helped me to be the one managing my health. This was a serious and trying time in my life and I am thankful Dr. Brettell was there. I also like her spunky personality.
