Extremely demeaning, rude, and sarcastic,
This doctor ( if he deserves to be called one) thinks and acts like a god and that the patient is under his mercy. He has the worst bedside manner, he is full of sarcasm, and he puts lies in his charting. I was referred to him by my PCP, which was a mistake; he was upset with me because my situation was not “a stroke.” I told him I never requested his referral and my symptoms are not his specialty. He let me wait for an hour and a half until I followed up with the unit clerk since he refused to see me and he was late; my health concern was just a waste of time for him. He falsified my chart by wrongfully putting a wrong chief complaint, and he falsified the documentation of my chief complaint by stating I was there for concern for the spine cancer when I never mentioned that to him. He finally did his “ assessment” ( which is not an assessment) of me; he insisted there was nothing wrong with me without any intervention. Patrick Gabikin, you cannot make a final diagnosis without examine

Mislead by all of the good reviews
After waiting for weeks to get an appt & being referred by 3 physicians after a severe auto accident, upon arrival the doctor first had his staff try to defer us to another doctor in Woodland Hills. When we asked why, we were given varying answers, one, that he had to see another patient w/ worse injuries. When we said we would wait, because we had been waiting weeks for this appointment, they finally relented & said the doctor would speak to us. “Speaking to us” meant the doctor got us in a room to scold us for insisting. He asked us why we would do that. Without even evaluating my husband, he told us that he was just suffering from old age, pointing to his wrinkles on his forehead. My husband is 53, and prior to his traumatic brain injury, he was leading a narcotics investigation as a Captain (state officer). & would have to qualify periodically for arrest & control and shooting his gun. Dr Gabikian was cruel and unprofessional, obviously wanting to leave early. This is no doctor.

Excellent neurosurgeon! He takes time to clearly outline step by step process as well as make the potential risks clear to the patient. Highly recommend him with any brain related surgery. After 1 year I have recovered from a brain surgery removing a massive invasive tumor. Thanks to Gabikian I am at my 100%.
