Dr. O'Leary is the BEST! He's an excellent surgeon, but he's a better person. He doesn't want to operate - he wants to help. Surgery is a last resort. And the follow-up care is second to none. His nurse Jenny is also the BEST! What a great team.

Dr O'Leary has excellent people and communication skills. Very knowledgeable!

I had a successful cervical fusion surgery with Dr. O'Leary in early 2024. I knew when my lower lumbar issues flared up he was the expert I could trust to guide me through a solution. He is a Dr that listens to your concerns and makes every effort to help you find the solution to relieve your pain.

Dr O’Leary had done lower back fusion on me 2022. I recently had hip replacement. Unfortunately I’m having sciatica. Checked in with doctor, make sure not a back issue. Dr O’Leary confirmed pain, not do to back. He’s very thorough & explains everything, to patient understanding.

I saw him in spring of 2022 (referral by Dr. Lily) I had degree 1 spondylolisthesis and stabbing glute pain when I tried to walk; I could not make 0.5 of a mile without pain. He examined me, prescribed one injection, did a follow up and another examination and he flat told me that I could recover without further intervention; surgery was NOT needed and even a second injection would be placebo, at best. He gave me his card and said 'you'll know when you need me.'It is 2 years later and thanks to conservative treatment (PT, activity management) and I can walk 10K and further reasonably comfortably. He was completely correct.

Been seeing Dr Oleary for 8 years now. First surgery fusion involved pinched spinal cord causing paralysis from waist down, then 4 more surgeries and fusions due to various back issues including degenerative disc disease. Great doctor and person, and I'm sure I would not still be getting around without a walker or wheelchair if not for his expertise. Would and do recommend him to anyone with bad back and spine issues.

My 1st impression, Dr O'Leary spends the time needed with you and your family to answer all questions. I even had my mother on facetime during a consult, pre-op.Prior to my surgery Nov 1, 2023 I couldn't walk down my hallway or stand at my sink without extreme and debilitating pain. I have since surgery (Jan19, 2024), walked around the park, walked Sam's Club & Costco several times without pain.I am headed to Italy in May! THANKYOU, DR. O'LEARY!!!

Great at explaining things to patients and deciding the best course of action for your particular case. Feels as though he truly cares for each individual’s well being and wants to do what is best for you.

I had a C3/C4 fusion done on my neck. Dr O’Leary was the best. I had small amount of pain for first 4 hours after I woke up an took 1 pill while in recovery room and then never had another pain pill. He explained everything that he was gonna do and exactly what was gonna happen and how i would feel as far as numbness on my skin and expected pain in the neck area. Explained to me what the expectations were and what the risk was. My C3/C4 was in very bad shape and pushing on my spinal cord and was very concerning to me. I was worried about being paralyzed from the neck down and so many things can happen in a surgery and your life is in the surgeons hands. Dr O’Leary was recommended to me from a person at work who had a back fusion done and was very happy. I can’t say enough about what a great surgeon he is. He tells you like it is and gives you his honest opinion. If you don’t need surgery he is gonna recommend not doing it. He’s not the kind of person that does surgery just for money.

I was referred to Dr O’Leary by one of my doctors concerning bulging disks and possible options. He was very personable and addressed all my concerns. He didn’t rush through the appointment and together we decided that surgery was not warranted at this time. I would highly recommend his services if you have spinal concerns.

100% would recommend Dr O'Leary to anyone. I'm in the early stages of back pain. He explained everything that he could see from my MRI and X-Ray. He was honest and shared what he would do if it were his back, which was exactly what I needed to hear. Now I know the probable cause of my pain and how I can work with it.
