I can’t express how nice it was to be seen by a dr, but nurses and general staff, that actually listen and care. What a huge difference! So kind and patient! Everything done on site in less than an hour. Xray, Dr visit, 2 injections. I never felt rushed or bad for how chatty I get. They got me thru kindly and efficiently. It was great. Dr asked questions about what I was saying, and did the exam with an ease and professionalism that shows a true passion for what he does. And he’s surrounded himself with great people. Kudos to all! Thank you so much!

I hate giving away inside scoops normally, as sometimes you take the risk of it being harder to get an appt in the future.However, Dr Kay can more than handle it and has already. Plus EVERYONE at CIO has been outstanding in their service, one staff member of which literally saved my life when I went in for a follow up & I was showing signs of heart failure. I ended up spending the week in the hospital, but back to Dr Kay. He’s a caring doctor that LISTENS to his patient’s concerns & explains everything in detail in easily understandable terms. This will be my second knee transplant and I wouldn’t trust anyone else except maybe one of the other surgeons at CIO. I’ve met half a dozen for different reasons from the knee surgery to a broken leg to an extremely swollen thumb from a foreign object. Every single one of the doctors were as personable, caring and communicative as Dr Kay is. Even his staff is outstanding. It’s a cliche, but you feel like you’re part of the family.

Dr. Kay is an excellent orthopedic surgeon who pays meticulous attention to detail. He is very personable, responsive and genuinely concerned about the well-being of his patients. So happy with my new hip! Would highly recommend him!!

Final visit following my procedure. All is perfect. Dr Kay had done my R knee a few years ago and this procedure on my L knee went even better. And he is also the kindest MD I have EVER met. His staff is also great.

This was my first experience with any orthopedic care. Every aspect of the visit was efficient, professional, friendly and competent. My symptoms had previously been diagnosed as a knee issue but Dr. K determined it to really be a hip problem. Good catch. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends.
