Dr. Patrick Blanchard, MD

very grateful for Dr B's compassion and care helping me get over covid. He came to my home every day until I got better and treated me better than what a hospital would. I've been his patient for six years. Highly recommend him if you are looking for someone to help you through tough times.

I am told Dr. Blanchard left Baptist to pursue private practice in the area. He took care of my father who cannot speak english when no one else would take his case because of his advanced diseases. Dr. Blanchard speaks spanish very well. My father likes the doctor and trusts him. I go with my father to his appointments and Dr. blanchard is kind, compasionate and took a lot of time to understand and treat my father with sugestins and medication my father is comfortable taking. My father improved. The doctor did not charge us an expensive fee. This was before he left the group in Navarre. I don't think the complaint about him (from Mark) is accurate at least from my personal experience with Dr. Blanchard.

I visited Dr. Blanchard a day after having a severe vertigo attack and he told me I was diabetic and wanted to prescribe medication. I insisted on redoing the lab work and found out he was wrong. Also when I went back in he told me the lab work was not done and to come back in two weeks and then charged me $220.00 for stepping into the room. I found myself a new doctor.

Dr. Blanchard was amazing very cool Doctor he help me through a lot of issues and he got everything taken care of and I was his patient for almost 5 years and I never had a problem until he left right in the middle and my arm got hurt but I’m still working through that but if I can find out where he’s at I go to him to see him again for a doctor because I don’t know who to get he’s a very awesome doctor and very thoughtful and helpful

I will miss Dr. Blanchard. I recently had a very scary bacterial infection that was not touched by the first antibiotic prescribed, so he switched me immediately to a stronger one, ordered an ultrasound of the area to find out more about the nature of the infection, and saw me several times over the course of my recovery. I have complete faith in this doctor, and I don't usually like doctors very much. I wish him well wherever he has gone, and now I have to find another doctor I respect. I don't plan to use Baptist though. They let a good doctor go!

Dr. Blanchard is a fine doctor. I saw his partner and asked to switch which was awkward but the staff will accomodate you if you press the issue. I was with Dr Howard, and AMAZING doctor and my doctor for over five years. Dr. Howard retired and I am so fortunate to find as good a doctor as my previous doctor. I am new to Dr Blanchard but wow he is kind and spends time to explain my condition and medication. He is a DOCTOR and not a nurse practitioner and WAY above any encounters from Wallgreen and CVS clinics but it takes time to get to Dr Blanchard. He is very complete discussing ALL lab work and I learned a lot about the body.

After researching my symptoms online and coming to the conclusion i have IBS, Dr. Blanchard found the real cause. My gallbladder was not working properly. Instead of surgery he recommended a medication to absorb bile. for years I've suffered from terrible heartburn and bowel problems. I was told by other doctors to take prilosec and avoid spicy foods. He found the source of my problem and I'm no longer suffering. When I told him what I had and the medication I wanted, he was kind and supportive and not arrogant. Instead he introduced me to medical concepts and conditions and possible alternative conditions and treatments. I felt like he really wanted to have me involved in his decisions and treatment for my condition. i first met him as a walk in appointment not knowing that he will see patients sometimes in urgent care but has a very full private practice in Navarre too. He took care of my Mother's broken foot when she was on Vacation from New York and now is her 'snowbird' doctor.

A couple of yaers ago Dr Blanchard took a biopsy and found skin cancer near my eye. I was suprised he is credentialed for skin cancer removal but VERY pleased with the outcome; all cancer removed and two years later can't even see the 1 inch incision near my eye. I followed him from Navy Hospital in Pensacola where I first met him eight years ago, to his current private practice in Navarre. Although inconvienent, he requires lab AND a medication review w/ exam in his office every few months. Since my medication is prescription, it makes sense to me even though copays are involved. I am told he has a medical degree from University of Kansas and a Fellowship in blood vessel health from Wake Forest. He has the experience and medical education I want for me and my family.

Dr. Blanchard saved my life. During a routine check-up Dr. Blanchard found that I had both AFib and AFlutter. Dr. Blanchard also searched for a heart doctor who was expert in ablations. I was told by the specialist that I could have had a stroke or heart attack. I have had the ablation and doing great! I can't thank Dr. Blanchard enough for being so thorough!

I made an appointment online for a rash. My doctor of over 10 years was not available. I waited about 20 minutes, so wasn't sure about what to expect. He seemed to take a lot of time taking care of his patients so it was okay. My rash, what I thought was poison oak was not what I expected. He asked ALOT of questions, including from when I was 5 years old! He suspected a condition called mast cell activation syndrome and took some blood tests and started treatment that same day. Wow, my blood pressure problem improved, my diarrhea stopped and my cough stopped too. All with one tablet daily. Worth the wait! He is my full time doctor now, and my family loves him too. He works hard for me and helped me understand my problem betr with information from National Institutes of Health. I have to drive from Gulf Breeze through traffic now, but my health is worth it and sometimes he works on Saturdays too.

this doctor is the real deal. no gimmicks but expert and honest talk.

I am very disappointed with the care I received. I've seen him twice and will never go back. He didn't help me at all. He gave me medicine that I had a reaction to. I went back in and he simply sent me for blood work, which was fine. What was ridiculous is he wouldn't prescribe me a different medication for a simple sinus infection, even though I was leaving the country for a week 4 days later. I had to go to a Walgreens clinic who actually helped mbe.

As a senior citizen and married to my lovely wife of 54 years we have seen a lot of doctors over the years in the civilian as well as the military communities. Dr. Blanchard is the epitome of what an excellent doctor should be in today's hectic world. Patient, intently listening to the patient's issues and within minutes he has a plausible and definite diagnosis. Brilliant is the word best defining Dr. Blanchard's knowledge and practice of medicine.

Everybody knows why a knowledgeable primary care physician is essential for our health as primary means first-line. Dr.Blanchard is such a physician . He is an excellent listener, patient, perceptive, vigilant and was willing to address all of the issues and symptoms I presented to him as he understood them right away. I highly recommend Dr.Blanchard and the Baptist Medical clinic in Navarre, Fl.

Thanks to Dr. B, I finally had a doctor follow up on my complaints about lower back aches. After 25 years of doctors giving me pain pills or acting like they didn't believe me, he sent me for an MRI and discovered bulging discs and pinched nerves. Very thorough and compassionate.
