I have chronic issues, and Dr. Salvato was the ONLY doctor who BELIEVED me and she started testing right away. That was in May, 2001, and I trust her with my LIFE. I have a few other excellent doctors who think the world of her - they are all highly recommended specialists.

Absolute the best Physician I’ve ever had
Dr Salvato is a top notch physician. After battling fibromyalgia for 15 years, I had just basically given up. She gave me renewed hope. She helped to look at this condition from multiple angles, reduced the 16 pills I had been prescribed, by others doctors to half, and she took the time to discuss my full history, and come up with an action plan. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. Dr Salvato is totally a blessing, she is so incredibly knowledgeable, and I am forever grateful to the person who recommended her.

Fantastic Internal Medicine Specilist.
She has a large practice with 25 staff. They manage very well, this heavy load of patients. I live in Ft. Worth but go to Houston to see her because she is the best MD around that has a focus and heart for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and all the after effects of this disabling disease. She spends the time needed to assess, examine, educate and make a treatment plan for me every time I see her. I know she truly cares for me and my disability. I Hope she doesn’t retire before I get better. I would be lost without her and have no hope of finding a Specilist that has her infectious disease experience and knowledge in this “ghost disease.” I have been a RN for 43 years and know a real Physician when I see one. Dr. Patricia Salvato is it!

I have ME/CFS... am autoimmune... have chronic inflammation... have mold toxicity and chronic mono... in short, my autonomic nervous system doesn't work, and I have been to a mazillion doctors... This is the one I would send the people I love most to see. She has saved my life more than once. She consistently studies new research; and, after so many blank and confounded stares from other doctors, I am truly blessed to have found her. She gets it. And she gets it with compassion. I researched to find the best doctor for ME/CFS in Texas... only to find she was less than ten minutes from me.

"Doctor" Salvato turned me away at the last minute because I said I may have seizures during my appointment. She said she would not see me unless my seizures are under control. My PCP thinks I have myalgic encephalomyelitis and Dr. Salvato claims to treat it. M.E. can cause seizures sometimes. So, a doctor that went to medical school is afraid of a seizure? When I was still able to work as a nurse, I took care of seizure patients and had one that I had to give rescue breaths to multiple times a shift. I wasn't scared. Every alternative medicine practitioner I go to are not scared of my seizures either. They are actually trying to help me. My father knows how to handle them and would have been with me so, there's nothing to be afraid of. It's basic first aid. I really need her help too but, I don't need a doctor that is scared. So, I don't recommend anyone else go to her either. She didn't even refer me to someone else. I'm just screwed and she doesn't care! I'm pretty hurt by this.

Well versed in her field Expertise in HIV and autoimmune disorders. Dr Salvato is very attentive to my medical needs and concerns, and has shown compassion during my quarterly appointments. Dr Salvato has been my physician for over 30 years, and I would never consider changing to another practitioner. She’s an excellent clinician and consistently provides professional and sound medical advice. She provides the appropriate time needed to answer my questions, without my having felt rushed or dismissed. Her staff is exemplary, polite and very professional, beginning with the receptionist and ending with making my next appointment. I could not ask for better care For anyone looking for an incredible physician, as well as a supporting staff, I highly recommend this clinical model.

I called them as a new patient and was forwarded to the new patient coordinator's voicemail. Never received a callback. I called them back and explained that I need a very specific drug allergy test and I need to know the Anthem Blue Cross in-network price of a doctor consultation and drug allergy test, and that I haven't met my deductible yet so I would bear 100% of the network price. They told me that they couldn't provide the cost information since they have no idea what the insurance will pay. I explained again that they are in-network with my insurance company and have established pricing already in place, and since I hadn't met my deductible yet then I would have to pay 100% of the pre-negotiated pricing. They still couldn't answer the question. Due to the lack of a callback and their unwillingness to provide the price for a very clear and straightforward procedure I went to another allergist that was able to answer these simple questions instead of pressuring me to book an appt.

There was a point in my life where I was sick and working from bed and dreading how I was ever going to make it to retirement. She got to the root of the problem, and convinced the insurance company to cover the expensive remedy, and got me back on my feet again, allowing me to have an active live and finish a productive career. A personal hero of mine.
