She almost killed my son and me. Mean girl vibes
Everyone is amazing with the Exception of Dr. Robertson. I was going into labor and she told me to drive myself to effin mount Hood (which is closed and had no NICU) there were 3 or 4 tests she could’ve done. She belittles you to the point where you feel so small. Her own staff doesn’t like her. Extremely unprofessional and called me in the hospital with preeclampsia. Thank god for Barb and Cheryl who helped me navigate my way to the correct hospital. She flagged me for inaccurate information and takes pleasure in having people’s lives her hands. She should not be practicing medicine.

Horrible experience.
She did not listen with comprehension or seem to respect me. RED FLAG. I thought I was just being harsh in my opinion at first because I am use to this type of response from doctors when I bring up something that is wrong with me that they have zero knowledge about. That's fine if they don't know. But when someone tries to belittle me and try to tell me I am wrong and attempt to confuse me because they are confused without listening to me about my own body, I lose all respect for them. I went to her specifically for this issue outside of my midwife and it was a complete waste of time. Just unhelpful and bad advise. Did not write any of her notes for me to see after even. I will not be seeing her again. Everyone else she works with was so helpful and kind. I don't know how they put up with her lack of caring or effort.

Surprised by These Reviews
I'm surprised to see these negative reviews. My experience with Dr. Robertson was the exact opposite. I am both overweight and have gestational diabetes and was very impressed with how Dr. Robertson explained the different treatment options available to me. She listened to me when I explained how I wanted to deliver my baby, and was very supportive of my birth plan. She spent additional time reviewing my previous pregnancies and births to make sure nothing was missed that would prevent me from having my desired birth experience. She was very clear with her risk assessment, and answered all of the questions I had.

Probably saved our lives
We had a rough go at the end of my pregnancy and I was having severe complications because of gestational high blood pressure and gestational diabetes. I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia by Dr Robertson. Although bedside manner was lacking, and arguments that I didn’t have all the symptoms, she insisted that I be treated for preeclampsia. My partner even confronted her about her reviews on this site and her bedside manner. But out of all the doctors and staff she held to her decision and she was most definitely right! Without any other symptoms presented she knew it was preeclampsia and we were able to be prepared for my delivery and I was able to keep from having to have an emergency delivery. I am better and I have a beautiful baby girl. I appreciate you sticking to your diagnosis!

Bad Doctor
This doctor lied, didn't listen to us, had poor bedside manner, and has tried to make the birth of our baby as difficult as possible. She should not be a doctor.

Did not feel heard by her. Told me she was late because "there was so much to review from the ultrasound since you're pregnant with two." Didn't introduce herself. Wanted to start me on an iron supplement (or infusion) without checking blood levels (which ended up being normal). I felt like her approach was not patient centered, and I was just a number or statistic. I now see other providers.

Tried to like her or at least respect her as a doctor, but it was impossible. She immediately finds a small condition with the baby and turns it into a big deal. It is extremely hard to read her personality so when she is relaying "bad news" to you there is no way understanding how high risk or low risk it really it. She only tells you the worst possible scenario instead of telling you both sides. Due to this it cost me a lot of extra money to do test and meet with specialists to only find out the specialist and others were not even concerned. I appreciate when a doctor proceeds with caution, but not with fear.

Poor bedside manner. Dr Robertson does not know how to get buy in from her patients, which is pretty important in obstetrics, and she resorts to fear tactics very quickly. I don’t wish to ever see her again, I will likely switch hospitals to avoid her.

Recommends treatment that could put your and your baby’s life in danger because that’s “standard of care” according to her. Doesn’t care that you have a healthy pregnancy with no complications. Just wants to profit from your birth. Disgusting.

She's a nice person... a bit awkward but she's nice. I have diabetes type 1 and all throughout my pregnancy she was the head doctor. With my previos kiddo all the doctors I seen made sure to tell me to try to keep my sugar levels at a good number, which I did and my baby was super healthy. This second time as I mentioned she was the one I seen 90% of the time, and i guess she was more worried about me having low blood sugar levels than high, which I completely get neither is good for baby or me. Her words "I rather have u be on the higher #s than lows... well due to this my baby's stomach was getting a but bigger than what should have gotten, because of my high numbers. Ugh i had a healthy baby too, I just never understood that...?

I am overweight, so I am termed a high risk pregnancy. During the appt she brought up 4 to 5 other side effects of being overweight and pregnant, at one point she acted like she didn’t believe me and asked my “partner” who confirmed what I’d already said. She asked if I wanted to have C-section or try for a VBAC & I told her I wanted to have a C-section she said we will discuss it more later, She also pushed me to get my tubes tied & when I told her I don’t plan to she also said we will discuss it more later. Everything ended with we will discuss it more later, it made me feel like she wasn’t “hearing” me. She doesn’t have a good “bedside” manner and I switched to a diff. Dr for my next appt. I refuse to see her again, I know I’m overweight and it’s not healthy, other than being overweight I have no other health issues, pregnant moms shouldn’t leave an appointment feeling horrible about themselves when baby is perfectly healthy, because your Dr is stuck on the fact you’re over “obese”.

Dr. Robertson was the worst Doctor that I have ever seen! She refused several times to give me progesterone at 14wks. which is exactly what I needed. She told me that "it is against my religion". I lost a healthy baby over the weekend, due to her lack of care, and went on to almost die of blood loss. Which could've been 100% preventable had I simply had a few progesterone injections. Any other Dr. would have helped me. She failed! She absolutely can not be trusted! Years later when I was 37wks. with my 3rd child, I unfortunately got her for my last visit(went into labor that night) and she told me she had never met me! She didnt even remember the hell she put me through! Ive always had healthy pregnancies and babies, just need progestrone shots in the beginning due to my polycystic ovaries. I told her all this and she refused citing "against her religion". Never trust a doctor that doesnt listen as that is the 1st sign that you are not in good hands.

Poor bedside manner. Uncouth. Didn't really seem helpful for my wife or baby. My wife actively tried to avoid appointments with her, but still couldn't escape her. Also gave information/instructions that contradicted other doctors in the clinic. Cannot recommend.

I absolutely hated this woman. Last year in early January I was admitted to the hospital with preeclampsia. She was the emergency line doctor for MFM in salmon creek. I was admitted on the 2nd if January. She was terrible in giving me information. Convincing me that leaving the hospital will kill my baby, her words. She also had tons of doctors come by my room to convince me to stay. She was not warm in her demeanor. My husband threw her and her toadies out of my hospital room. Get another dr!

Although she is nice, everything else about my experience with Dr. Robertson was horrible. HORRIBLE! She was not helpful in guiding my understanding and confused me more than clarified. This is at a time of making heart wrenching decisions about my baby's future and well-being. I do not trust her diagnostic or clinical skills and would advise everyone to avoid getting care from her if at all possible.
