I started going to Dr. Close a few years ago, after I was having difficulty making an appointment with my current doctor. My sister recently switched to Dr. Close and recommended her. When I called up to make an appointment, I had a pleasant conversation with the receptionist and was able to get an appointment that week. From the moment I entered the office, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a personable staff who answered all my questions. The waiting room is clean and I have never waited more than 15 minutes for my scheduled appointment. Dr. Close has a caring, calm demeanor and takes her time with each patient. She takes the time to get to know you on a personal level and makes you feel comfortable at all times. I highly recommend the Westmed practice and Dr. Close!

Dr. Close shows absolutely no care towards her patients. I called her office 2 weeks after my yearly appt concerned about a medical issue resulting from switching my birth control. She never called me back and I had to wait until 4 weeks after my call when I came in for a follow up appt. At the 6-week follow up she forgot that it was a follow up and tried to give me a pap smear as well as a full internal exam when I just had all of that done 6-weeks prior by her. Worst doctor I've ever had!

Loved her! She explained what she was doing and made me feel comfortable in every way. You can tell how experienced she is. She is my new go-to gyno.

Dr. Close is friendly but does not have good bedside manner. She does not knock on the door before entering the room. Unfortunately, I was not clothed 2 out of the 3 times that she walked into the room without knocking. Dr. Close did not explain what she was doing before/as she did the exam so I did not know when to expect discomfort and had no clue what she was checking for. Dr. Close also tried to scare me into getting a vaccine that I have researched and decided against.
