i got two phone calls requesting me to come to colonoscopy appt. earlier, which i did. i waited nearly two hours. i had to ask where i was in line as everyone who came in after me was seen and left. i was brought to change into hospital gowns. about a half hour later, i was told she couldn't see me for at least two more hours. my escort was already there. i hadn't eaten in 24 hours, was feeling uncomfortable and had to leave not knowing if i'd be seen at all. she called me that evening to apologize--who gave her my number, she'd never met me? i asked her to send me the patient survey, which she said she would do, but i never received it. lastly, while waiting in robes before being told it'd be at least two hours more, i heard a staff member outside privacy curtain saying she felt sorry for me and if you weren't her first patient, you'd be spending time waiting. but why the humiliation of undressing, waiting, and then being told it'd be at least two more hours? why was she telephoning me at home when she'd never met me? (i have phone records.)

Dr Stood Me Up
I had a longstanding planned visit and the doctor never showed. After 15 minutes I received a call saying she had gone into another meeting. They tried to pin it on me for having to take the time to fill out their forms but then confessed that I was done 5 minutes into the appointment, which was supposed to last 15 minutes.
