Dr. Parisa Jamshidi, MD

We were not impressed with the level of dismissiveness with which Dr Jamshidi behaved with our daughter. Yes, our daughter was still in the process of being diagnosed (She eventually got diagnosed with Crohn's in Small Bowel and couple of other auto immune conditions). On 06/07 our daughter had extreme levels of stomach pain compounded by the fact she was going through a menstrual cycle and also her ongoing struggle (Yet, undiagnosed at that time). Just because our daughter's CRP was normal, Dr Jamshidi started to behave in a dismissive manner with our daughter thinking she is faking all this. In fact, around 30% of people who get diagnosed with Crohn's always have normal inflammation markers (CRP/ESR/etc). Dr Jamshidi thought our daughter is doing all this to avoid going to school and kept advising our daughter that school is good and she should go regularly. In fact, Meghna loves school and she has A+. This Dr mentally harassed our child and was arrogant, rude, inconsiderate

I brought my 3 month old in to the ER with a high temperature. She was very thorough and looked for all possible answers. She followed up the next two days and responded immediately when I texted her a concern. I cannot say how much I appreciated that. It is not every day a doctor is so willing to make a new mom feel better.
