Does not offer any information for preventative care or personal health goals, and won't even consider adjustments to a medication that she initially agreed to take over handling from a specialist who is no longer practicing. Did not communicate needs for next visit for an appropriate appointment length, and wanted different appointments scheduled for different inquiries. I usually found out too late when this happens that they can't answer the questions I told them I have. Often needed her boss to sit in on appointments to get her to take me seriously. She and the nurse taking calls for her at HMA are rude and extremely stressful to deal with, and as someone with Asperger's, it makes health care intimidating to seek and coordinate.

DR Patel not only asks appropriate questions, but listens to my comments as well, making full eye contact. She is very caring; once calling me over the weekend to see how I was doing.

Great annual maintenance wellness check up. She asked many questions and listens to all of my concerns. Very prompt and no feeling of being rushed.

She was rushed but still didn't do a very good job with giving me a diagnosis. Now I have to wait 6 weeks to see a Gastroentologist while I have to follow up with her too. Not even sure if I should go for the follow up since she'll probably just cut it short again and reschedule after the Gastro visit. So ridiculous, you're supposed to do an exam then see if you need to refer to a Gastro. Not only that my Physical was cancelled. Even though I was late, she had time to do a quick exam but didn't.

Dr Patel is kind, easy to work with and not judgmental. I never have a long wait for my appointments. The office is run very well, organized and clean.

Very difficult appointment because of her three day a week routine. Has no concern or compassion for the patient's needs. Has little interest in patient's well being. Seems likes she would rather be elsewhere.
