A patient of Dr. Sapountzi for a number of years.
She is so smart. As an RN, I view her with respect. For years, she has taken the best of care of me. Thorough and efficient.

She has been the first endocrinologist that made me feel seen and heard. She has been helping me to get to a point where I need minimal or no medication to manage all of my issues.

This doctor is impossible to contact. Her office is non responsive and not helpful in getting medication refills. Her assistant is rude and arrogant and does not follow through. I would give zero stars, but this system will not allow that.

I’ve seen her a few times and each time was horrible. She has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever seen. The wait was longer then the actual time she spent talking to me. Her staff is also rude, the receptionist was rude when I checked in and the last time I called to ask the nurse a question regarding a concern I had she laughed at me and made a joke out of it. Im never going back.

I've been a patient of Suburban Endocrinology for years but this was my first appointment with Dr. Sapountzi. Dr. Sapountzi came in and started asking me questions. It was obvious that she hadn't read my chart. In the middle of the exam her cell phone rang and she promptly left the room without a word and didn't return for 10 minutes. When she finally returned she didn't acknowledge leaving me sitting there or apologize for interrupting my examinaction. I'm in the process of finding a new Dr.

Love her! She takes good care of me. I had seen my primary doctor about my thyroid for about two years before finding Dr. Sapountzi who immediately knew I was in trouble and did an exam with an ultrasound. Put me on the meds that I knew I needed and was honest with me about my weight. I am now down 40 lbs and feel great. Every time I went back and was down weight she encouraged me to keep going. Couldn't ask for more.

I wish I could give no stars. First off her nurse has no idea what she is doing. She has gotten my insulin wrong twice, argued with me telling me I am taking a brand that I know I am not taking, then TWICE has called Humalog and Novalog into my mail order to be filled. TWICE I had to call the mail order and have once cancelled or I would have been billed directly for one. Sapountzi only checked my feet twice in two years and once I had to ask. She is arrogant and dismissive. STAY AWAY!
