Dr. Parag Merai, MD

I started seeing Dr. Merai early in adolescence and he kept me on his caseload for a decade. He helped me gain so much stability and improve my quality of life. He is so kind and respectful, I always felt heard with decisions in my care and with his help I went from barely being able to go to school once a week to now having a bachelor's degree and working full time. I can't recommend him enough, he is one of the best doctors out there. He is by far the best psychiatrist I've worked with, and I've never met a professional with so much empathy and so much drive to help his patients

Dr. Merai has been my daughter’s psychiatrist for a couple years. I can not recommend this man enough. His knowledge, demeanor with children, compassion towards parents is amazing. There were several emergency incidents I had, and his office was able to reach him immediately and contact me and I was able to get the advice and help I needed after hours for my child. Child psychiatrists are not easy to come by, if Dr. Merai has a wait list to see him, it is definitely worth it to become one of his established patients. You won’t regret it.

Dr. Merai is hands down my absolute favorite child psychiatrist! I know several people who send their children to him, and have only the best things to say about him. Compassionate, dedicated, above and beyond. This is the doctor you want to be in your kid’s corner when they are struggling. As a mental health professional myself, I know a great doctor when I meet one. And Dr Merai is the best!

My son has been with Dr.Merai for about 5 years and he has helped him in many ways and I would highly recommend him! We are lucky to have him!

I feel Dr. Merai is an excellent physician. He takes the time to listen and just doesn't jump at the chance to prescribe a bunch of medications. He has made a world of difference with my son.
