Recently I underwent cataract surgery, and had excellent outcome .He recommended a balanced vision concept so after the IOL I am able to wake up in the morning and see clearly without my myopia glasses and able to read without reading glasses.I am very happy with the outcome and would strongly recommend him for eye problems.

I have had surgery on both of my eyes for cataracts. At this point in time, this type of surgery is really a well defined protocol, but Dr. Majmudar was my only choice to complete the surgery after doing my homework. He comes very highly recommended and my experience confirmed why. We discussed the options for correction and he guided me to the best choice but didn't force me to do anything I didn't want to. I trusted his judgement completely and love the outcome. I have 20/20 in my dominate eye and the other eye can focus at the length of my dashboard in my car or a computer screen. This combination is perfect and 2 days after my second surgery I am so happy with the results. He is very calm, describes everything extremely well, is always pleasant and never seems rushed but stays on time. I highly recommend him for any eye surgery you might need.

I saw Dr. Majmudar seeking corrective eye surgery many years ago. With great compassion, he informed me I have corneal dystrophy. I asked 2 eye specialists that I trust who they think should perform my eventual cornea replacement and both recommended Majmudar, not knowing I had seen him, saying "He is the only doctor I would trust for surgery on my own eyes." In follow up visits, I notice that he keeps up and invests in the latest technology for diagnosis - which also is easier on patients.

This doctor is a rare find. Five (not exaggerating) other doctors said nothing could be done for me, He seems to have taken on my unusual problem (central island on my cornea) as a personal challenge, and has succeeded, giving me vision that has measured better than 20/20. He's extremely communicative and a problem-solver; his ego doesn't prevent him from consulting other experts in the field. I got lucky. JC, Buffalo Grove, IL.

Good listener, communicates well, is thorough, doesn't mind questions or repeating himself, is reasonably patient, and equally importantly, is highly skilled in the OR. Operated smoothly, efficiently. AND runs a good office; they're nice, professional, thorough, and it's an unhectic environment. Maybe the best doctor I've ever had.

We felt our experience with Dr. Majmudar was excellent. Our son was diagnosed with Keratoconus and we went to him for a consult on Cross linking. He is a perfect fit for our son who also happens to have Down Syndrome. Very patient with our son. He explains everything very well, takes time to answer all questions that you have. I would recommend him to my friends. Also would like to mention the tech that did Joey's tests, Emily was also excellent and took her time with my son. 5 stars!!
