Dr. Pamela Schmagel, MD

She has an amazing calming personality and allows you to have your opinions without pushing her views. I was nervous about the pregnancy experience, but I've felt great through the whole experience with her office

After being very let down by a different doctors office in Rapid City I decided to try Dr. Schmagel's office. I am very happy I chose to do so. Her nurse, Jenny, has been an angel to me and made me feel all the things I was missing with the previous doctors office. She listened, she cared, she understood my frustration, best of all, she immediately came up with a solution (twice now.) Dr. Schmagel is equally wonderful. I am so happy I made the switch over to this office and would recommend to any pregnant woman out there having a hard time deciding where to go or even to the woman that are not satisfied with their treatment at their current doctors office. I am very thankful and feel blessed to have chosen this team as my support and guidance during the pregnancy journey.

I saw several OB/GYN’s in Rapid City. I was extremely frustrated because no one seem to give me the time or even cared that I wanted a very natural hands-free prenatal and childbirth. Schmagel and her team seem to actually take time and listen to every concern and want to I desired. As a result, I gave birth to two beautiful baby girls that schmagle was present for both deliveries. I had a natural med free child birth for both. I never felt pressured at any point to compromise my beliefs.

My first visit with Dr. Schmagel and her office staff went very well. The doctor was warm, friendly, made me feel welcome. She took her time, clearly answered all my questions and concerns. She explained her diagnosis and her plan to correct the issues I have. She made sure I understood the diagnosis, treatment plan and was agreeable. I would recommend her and her office to anyone looking for a gyn.
