incredibly rude, uncooperative, unprofessional
accompanied patient because they were nervous about the appointment. pamela essentially said she was handing the patient off to vanderbilt because the one treatment option she tried was causing severe side effects, which she did not take seriously at all. even at one point saying “i don’t know what that means” to the patient as they were describing the symptoms. when i tried to advocate for them and ask a question about a concerning blood result from a lab that PAMELA HERSELF ordered, she said, “that means nothing to me. that number is irrelevant to me, i ignore those numbers. so, sorry i can’t make that work for you” and i said that wasn’t what i asked, to which she said “what did you want then” and i plainly said, you do not need to be so rude, to which she smartly said “and how are you related?”- which is so irrelevant, as the patient wanted me to be there. she said she would be retiring and basically wanted to wash her hands of the patient. zero concern, incredibly hateful.

She's arrogant. Told me I was lying. She didn't take my physical health complaints seriously not once, but twice. My GP successfully addressed both gastro issues where it was her job to do so. I requested my medical records after the second time. It's time to move on when a doctor fails to listen and treats issues flippantly. Also being called names ("You are lying.") in a doctor's office is not appropriate. When I responded with "What reason do I have to lie?" She was a smart-elic.

This doctor is not cautious enough......she ASSUMES what might be wrong instead of testing to MAKE SURE. She does not take symptoms seriously enough. I sought a second opinion for my husband and I am so glad I did.....it could have turned out very badly if I had not.

No one should experience this.I had been there before and all she told me was lose weight....no other help for reoccurring problem. I became very sick and went back knowing that I could probably get in fairly quickly. As I expected, her only response was you need to lose weight. She did not even examine me. Fortunately, the APRN in my family doctor listened to me, examined me and diagnosed me with an illness that can be life threatening. Do not go to Dr. Reed if you are overweight.
