Dr C is a Good man!
Office staff was very helpful for my first visit and they made me feel at home. Dr Canchis is a good man and experienced doctor who listens to your concerns. I highly recommend.

Incompetent office staff
just now NEW Dr Canchis himself is nice, kind, easy to work with but i do Have to give 1 star for his office staff alone. I’ve been calling and leaving messages for MONTHS to book an appointment. They NEVER answer the phone nor do they return calls. Need a referral for a specialist? FORGET IT. The staff NEVER SENDS IT and YOU WILL HAVE TO GO AND FACILITATE IT YOURSELF. Office staff are rude, unprofessional, and argumentative. Want high blood pressure and stress? Book an appointment at this practice and you’ll surely have it after dealing with the office staff.

The worst doctor and staff
My boyfriend has very high blood pressure and heart decease and the doctor fails to keep appointments doesn’t send the prescription to the pharmacy-doesn’t send referrals to the specialist on time. the staff is extremely rude and disqualified to take care of patients they have no empathy or compassion.

The office staff here is unbelievably rude. They are argumentative and won’t let you speak. If they even answer the phone. They scheduled my boyfriend on a holiday and when we called the next day they said they called and canceled and they did not. The supervisor was extremely nasty and unprofessional. We are switching PCP’s ASAP. Do not go tot his office.

My daughter went to see him 3 years ago. She is still traumatized by the way he treated her. Told me she wasn’t skinny enough to have UC. Thought she was faking. Even though test were showing something. And she lost 30 pounds in 2 months. Yelled at her, insisting she wasn’t taking her meds her prescribed. Wasn’t going to help her if she didn’t listen. Questioned her friend when she left to use restroom about my daughters health.She finally was Diagnosed with severe Crohn’s by another GI Dr.

While it's true service provided was passable, this doctor fails to send bills on time and then charges us for late fees. We had another episode with this doctor where they tried to charge us for being 120 days late with payment, despite paying in full at time of service. One of the tests completed, was done because the doctor refused to refill anti-anxiety meds, and he couldn't believe my husband's throat had gotten so red. If you can avoid using them, do so.

My father has Chrones and diverticulitis. He was having yearly colonoscopies with Dr Vacca. They transferred his care to this Dr when he retired. My dad has been seeing him for 2 1/2 years now. He has been refusing to order colonoscopies on him!! Well, now he has been in Miriam Hospital for the past 3 days with an infection of his bowels and a blockage. Doctor there did a scope this a.m. and he had a very large polyp in the area also that was ignored for past 2 yrs due to this doctor Canchis!

He has no clue what he's doing. I have 3 doctors that see that I have either an infection or something wrong with me that causing ear and sinus infection hearing loss,headaches and pain, throat and gum pain,neck,back,stomach,groin and leg pain. Nausea ,vomiting,diarrhea,feeling of fatigue,and sickness. Loss of feeling,chest pains. He thinks I'm not sick,I had to beg him for a blood test. The other doctors think in should b in the hospital. He is not qualified to take care of people.
