I had cataract surgery with him about a year and a half ago. I told him that I wanted to remain nearsighted. The last minute in the OR he tells me he can fix my eye for intermediate vision. Well now that he fixed it for intermediate vision I cannot thread a needle which I could do before the cataract surgery. There are some things on my phone that I cannot see if I can't enlarge it. People always told me that the doctors can fix it the way you want either nearsighted or farsighted but Dr lacour didn't do what I wanted.

I was in a horrible car accident. My vehicle was totalled. Besides other injuries, I began experiencing changes in my vision. I was sent here by my attorney to check my eyesight. Everything was negotiated with this doctor as far as payment, through my attorney, who is highly reputable and well respected. That day, my lawyer personally spoke with them, even offering his credit card. After my visit, which I thought was rushed, the doctor wanted payment. Unfortunately, when they called my attorney, he had retired for the day. They humiliated me by having me sit down. They incessantly demanded payment. I thought they were going to call the police. After about 40 minutes, I was told to leave. Of course, the next day, my attorney paid for everything. The next day, my eye pain worsened, so I went to see him again. I suggested that one of the machiness poked me a bit. Although he was upset before, he became downright belligerent and cruel. Perhaps, one may guess that I am not white.

A professional focused on the welfare of his patients first. Whenever possible, he always provides explanations for alternative treatment options and seeks the patients' input. Dr. LaCour has treated me for over ten years, during which time he performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I am now approaching 73 and I always leave his office convinced that my care could not have been better. My entire family is now included in his patient list, including my wife and grand children. I have always confidently encouraged friends in need of optical treatment to visit doctor LaCour. I highly recommend him and have complete confidence in his professional ability. He also just happens to be a really nice person.
