Wow
The hospital and the doctor are both the worst. The doctor never did an assessment or made eye contact. Wouldn't speak even on the phone and the nurses are obviously intimidated by him. The entire experience was the most inadequate care ever received. Only one nurse actually did an assessment out of the four days of admission. Honestly this hospital and doctors are the worst and the hospital is going under. Also, at the end of my stay problem was not addressed properly. Don't go to RMC with any urgent medical emergency, you will not get good care and will sit in the waiting room with chest pain for over 20 hours. Please someone shut the doors down and start a new hospital from the ground up!

Been going to Dr. O for several years. I could not ask for a better cardiologist. Short wait times, staff is to notch, the Doctor and the NP are excellent.

Dr. Onyekwere actually saved my life. I was rushed to the ER @ RMC where the ER Doctor diagnosed a severe heart attack. It was complete blockage, often called a widowmaker. Even though Dr. O was having July 4th with family, he rushed in and within minutes (25) had me on the OR table. Short story, I walked out of the hospital 2 days later feeling better than I had in years! His follow ups and office visits have all been expertly handled. I won't see anyone else for my heart.

Had stress test and echo done on June 27th. Was told the day before the doctor was out of town. I was told to expect my results Monday or Tuesday. Called Tuesday and was assured that he would fax my primary the results. Called primary. Nurses busy.Called back to his office to see if results faxed and was told the lady that did this was out the rest of the day. Primary called. Dr. Onyekwere still out of town. Office staff lied to me. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

I had an excellent experience at Dr Onyekwere's office. They got me in quickly and even though I waited several hours to see him bc he had patients at the hospital, he was apologetic and listened attentively to me and got me in for tests quickly. I was concerned no one would listen bc I am 28 years old but he was helpful and professional, and didn't dismiss my concerns. I'm now on track for recovery because this doctor listened to me and scheduled plenty of tests to make sure we figured it out.

First, The Dr. will not let you know how old he is. Took over 1 month to get initial appointment (16Nov2016). Then 2 tests scheduled over the next month.. Then 2 weeks to follow up/results appointment( 21Dec2016). At 3:15 appt. I asked how long wait time was and was told 2 to 2 1/2 hours... I could not wait that long and expressed my time was important too and was rescheduled for March 1st 2017. I also asked for the results and still have not been provided the results by phone.. Unacceptable...
