Ego bigger than the room
Im 34 weeks pregnant with bleeding, fluid, and extreme cramps after a history of more losses than i can count. She accused me of fabricating the cramps due to 'anxiety' which i don't have and never have been diagnosed with. The fluid is pee according to her because apparently people cant feel when they urinate vs don't? News to me. And i was going to throw up if i heard how she has 10 years experience one more time. Not impressed, brag when you hit 30 years. Doesn't fit with the culture of the Hoffman group and i hope they get rid of this evil gaslighting monster stat. She was so cruel and thought she knew everything about me although we'd never met. One of the worst drs ive ever had to encounter and i never want to see her pompous face again. Like talking to a wall but a gaslighting wall.

Worst doctor
Dr. Omoikhefe was the worst doctor I ever met. She never give me a clear answer to my concerns, she is arrogant and aggressive in the way she talked, lack of professionalism and knowledge. I didn't learned anything from her during my pregnancy and she's not compassionate. Never explain my results even when they show red flat and I asked.I will never recommend her.

When I was newly pregnant for the first time I confided in Dr. Akhigbe about my mental health to make sure everything I was feeling is normal. She looks me dead in the eyes during our conversation and says "you know your dad is never coming back right." She knew my dad had committed months earlier. Absolutely no empathy, blames my therapist for not doing her job properly when all I wanted was clarification on pregnancy hormones as I was newly pregnant.

I’m very surprised by the unhappy reviews here. I’ve been seeing Dr. Akhigbe for about 3 years. I find her to be the perfect mix of knowledgeable, professional, and personable. She appears to have a great rapport with her staff as well. I first came to her office while having a cancer scare that my previous obgyn had dismissed on multiple occasions. Dr. Akhigbe and her staff were instrumental in getting me quickly set up with the right tests and the right specialist to resolve my issue.

Here is the doctor who has no empathy and compassion. Doesn't have patience to understand what the patient is going thru. No follow-ups for test results, long wait times for any procedure and a standard answer to just take pain killers doesn't warrant an OB/GYN. Useless in my humble opinion. I'm never going back here. It was such a brutal and traumatizing experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Akhigbe as she delivered my son and had a great bedside manner. The entire staff at women’s health of Hackettstown is top notch.

It is the worst experience I have had, their treatment is so bad and hostile. I would definitely never see her again. He has no professionalism or empathy.

If I could possibly have rated her a 0 out of 5, I would have. It was the worst experience I have never had with a doctor, nevermind an OB/GYN. She was rude, condescending, dismissive, inconsiderate, unkind, and lacked compassion. I am shocked and appalled by her lack of professionalism. The interaction was uncomfortable, and I feel my needs were not addressed. I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied. I hope if anyone is thinking of selecting her as a doctor that they reconsider.

I was just about to leave Understanding Women after Dr Uzbay relocated to Florida and me not liking Dr Campbell's bedside manner. When they announced a female was joining the practice in January, I decided to give it another try. Im so glad I did. I felt so comfortable with Dr Akhigbe. She spent time to explain all my options, she listened and understood my concern. She performed a biospy on me and She was patient and took all the time that I needed. I highly recommend Dr Akhigbe.
